Exactly, I swear people expect things for nothing nowadays. Theres a reason that Onkyo etc sell £1000+ systems, quality, power and a bit of brand snobbery, this will cater for the not so rich or not so fussy and at this price I'd say it looks like good value (that said I'd save the cash and invest in a middle of the road Sony HT kit ).

Don't we all know someone that wished they'd bought an Onkyo, but walked away because it was an unheard of brand and for £20 more could have got a Sony if they'd looked round online? :w00t:

She sings it very very often now, very very loudly.

My wife hasnt spoken to me for a few days now.

I know a man who bought a Sony AV amp (me) & thinks it's nothing special. That said I expect for £35 the Curtis is awesome.
#18
I know a man that paid far more than the total cost of this for just one speaker, I would hope the sound quality of the total setup he owns is far superior.
#19
Lots of chocolate biscuit talk (I like chocolate biscuits and have a random urge to buy some mint clubs now lol)

But onto the deal - at £35 its worth a punt for not much more than most dvd players themselves so HEAT added

Just sent this back as the quality is poor and speakers buzz. Also no inputs.

Probably not much worse than most branded all-in-one home cinema systems but also not much better then your TV speakers. Probably worth £35 then!

Duck in pancake rolls would be a better way to spend your £35!

This doesn't have inputs, right? So You're only going to hear DVDs through this system. No TV channels. Or am I not understanding?

a Onkyo whats that, that is an unheard of brand. wouldnt touch that with a barge pole.

I know a man that owns a barge pole!

Although he is not too keen on you prodding Onkyo Blu-ray Players with it
#32
15w sub, < that for the other speakers. it's not going to be brilliant sound. however, at this price isn't not bad!

Thanks Andy. Is that via scart? So you could have it working with your set top box through your TV, for instance.
#36
You CANNOT plug it into your TV and no scart input.
