With no disc in the tray & tray closed - enter 973501 and press enter - this provides multiregion DVD and region A bluray playback.

With no disc in the tray & tray closed - enter 973502 and press enter - this provides multiregion DVD and region B bluray playback.

With no disc in the tray & tray closed - enter 973503 and press enter - this provides multiregion DVD and region C bluray playback.

This is also a cracking player. Image and sound are as you'd expect from blu-ray. Wouldn't trade mine for anything else.

Firmware can be found here http://www.curtisint.com/support/manuals.asp?category=&subCat=&catName=&p=3

Thanks for the anonymous cold votes folks. Merry Christmas to you all.

I haven't voted either way but I think people will vote cold because of the Sony bd-360 deals that can be had at the moment around that price. Merry Christmas!

The Sony doesn't play all region blu-rays but this does. Or I wouldn't have posted it.

I reckon it's because it's just kinda a 'meh' deal. Whilst it's probably the cheapest at the moment it has been cheaper.
Also, as someone else said there's other deals around for known brands that people feel safer with.

Voted hot - don't let the name put you off.... it's a decent player as it is, but being multi-region hackable (like the Logik DSG players) makes it an absolute bargain

Too much to pay for a made-up brand!

Made-up brand? Is that like made-up drug?

I dont know much about this brand and only tend to buy well known makes of electrical stuff....
But it is hackable for multi region DVD and BD, so for that alone i give it hot.

If you feel like looking hard enough - this is £19.97 in currys, although when i posted it @ 49.97 the stock was pretty much sold.

Some still around.

what?! 19.97 for a blu ray player!??
#15
Yeah, I managed to get to from currys for £20 each.
You can pick up the Logik BD player for £40 if you shop around.

In Curry's this did drop to £49.97 and were all snapped up. Although they used them as demo players and some were very lucky to find them. Curry's sold out completely a few months ago and this is the only place you can buy them aside from Ebay.
