Well that obviously only applies if you live miles away :p

You can get 16 rolls for £6 at tesco, (so the equivalent price for 24 would be £9). Morrisons were doing the 16 pack for £5 but I don't know if that offer is still on.

Defo cushelle in lidl, normally £9.99 but went on special at £6.99 on Monday
#11
2 packs of 24 at Netto are £14 (Currently £7 each, bought one today), making that cheaper than Makro (Once you take VAT into account)
#12
Farmfoods toilet rolls are 9 for £2, cheaper than Makro's offer of Cushelle!!
#13
at farmfoods are they cushelles?
#14
I live alone, I go through about 1 roll a month, why would I want 4 years worth of bog roll???

I may be wrong but I am pretty sure you don't pay VAT on bog roll.

I'm a makro customer, you do pay vat on loo rolls.
The government charge vat on what they class as "luxury items", so it seems wanting to wipe your bum on loo roll rather than on a doc leaf is a luxury! :D

Why Marco deals are posted here forget about discussing, Marco is business to business, HotUKDeals is for common people who can't even enter Marco without the Marco Trade card

£10.50 add VAT is £12.60.... £7 x 2 is £14.... not cheaper

its still a hot deal, if you have a card or not. and "common people"? please, some of us have a high level of education taking us out of the "common" bracket!

Agree to both points, i.e. hot deal, but for the majority of us, (either common or uncommon), the Lidl deal is more convenient and available than Makro / Netto.
