Only red, green and pink show on link but if you click on the red the black also comes up at bottom of page. According to instore they are clearing out for new colours but at that price I don't care.
Don't think it's been posted but me and the search don't see eye to eye!

Just taken delivery of the XFix version myself - looks great, better than halfords £50ish Britax
#2
Yes I thought they seemed good and they have excellent safety reviews. We have a Britax adventure I picked up for £15 and it's fine as a spare but I'm not happy using it all the time.
#3
7% cashback too available.
#4
I've had one for more than a year. I highly recommend the Solution X fix.
#5
Just ordered one thank you
Have been looking for an isofix under £100. Couldn't get code to work but took store delivery to save postage.
#6
Just ordered the isofix one, heat added. Thanks for sharing.
#7
Hum do I/dont I?!!?
#8
Do you need one? Best one available in my opinion if you do...

i have a solution x and a solution xfix for my older two children and i can recommend them enough, i bought two cybex pallas seats for my twins (£120 on sale) for my twins but the seat belts in my ford galaxy were not long enought for them, £55 for the solution x and £80 for the solution xfix are a bargain
#10
I just bought a car with isofix points and have two graco booster seats in at the moment but an isofix in the back of each car seams so much safer - my children are 3 and 5 so gonna be in them a while yet
#11
Have 3 of these, they are by far the best seat we have ever had. Good protection and the kids find them very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
#12
Does the head recline thing really stop their heads falling forwards for the extra cost???
#13
This gets a great review in Which even as a belted option so the xfix should be even better. Thanks Op good spot which should be hotter - at the moment there is a post doing better for the Britax Adventure which only narrowly escaped being labelled as a don't buy by which, its cheap so its getting Votes. I just hope the parents look at this before committing
#14
Ive bitten the bullet and ordered - my childrens safety comes first. Thanks for the post.

If anyone is wondering whether to spend such money on a car seat, think of it as getting probably 5 years usage out of one. £11-16 a year doesn't sound so bad for the safest seat around. What else do we waste money on? Hopefully I'll never need the safety aspect of it and my daughter will just enjoy the comfort.

good price. although, price in my eyes is never a factor. i buy the best seats i can on the market at the time. you cant put a price on your child's safety.

Should I move my just 4 year old from the graco seat (that converts down to just a booster for later) that my sister passed us to a solution x? It looks amazing! My 22 month old is in a maxi cosi tobi and will be for a long while yet....I drive a clio........I've read all your reviews and watched the video......
#18
Well I did wonder how the Britax was so hot compared to this but thought it was just me!
Our two are in Kiddy car seats at minute but eldest needs a booster really now and I've ordered one for little one too so it's ready for him and I don't have to settle for less. I know everyone can't afford the best one but it's always been the one thing I don't skimp on, I cringe when I see some of the well off mums at toddlers with their kids in the cheapest seat available!
It will be a very long time before I put either of mine in a non backed booster, I don't care how much they whinge it's bad for their street cred!

We are just thinking about moving our little girl (nearly 3) into the next stage car seat, she is very tall for her age & currently in a maxi cosi tobi which is great but she has outgrown it. I have read all these posts and this sounds a brilliant seat at an even greater price. I am going to call our local mamas & papas to see if this is available instore.

i just called and our local store (edinburgh) doesn't have them in stock but i was told i could order for store delivery. the woman i spoke to said the only reason for the reduction in price is that they have changed the colours in the new catalogue!

Bummer, I just bought the Maxi Cosi Rodi XR from here last week on amazon. This one looks better and I suppose the only issues are size for storing?
#21
i just ordered two of the xfix for £80 each. Delivery to store by 21st Jan - lol why so long. Anyhow, any fitting issues and they can have them back. Shame they dont have a drinks holder accessory.

Anyhow, one child - 2 cars hence the need. Hope they are better than the Britax Kidfix although thats around £115.

I read on an american review that the seats have an expiry date stamped on them 5 years from date of manufacture - is this true?

Oh Heck! I've just ordered this to collect in store too. I suppose I can test both of the seats out and see which one is better as both have won a number of awards.

Heat added!

just ordered one online and delivery is 21jan as well.
#24
I ordered yesterday for home delivery as we are quite a way from store and will cost me more in diesel to go back and get it. According to this mornings email been dispatched and should be here early next week.

On our 4th Maxi Cosi XR (between 2 cars) and can vouch it is a steal at the £55 price from last week. Not sure on this Cybex make but looks like a very similar seat in shape/design to the Maxi. I see according to Which? the Maxi scores 75% to the Solution X-Fix 74% overall but the Cybex scores one more star in front crash tests so go figure that one. Sure they are pretty much alike so just think in terms of which one hides the puke stains the best.

And sorry the Solution X (not X-Fix) scored 72% at Which. £80 for the possibly better X-Fix I see on this site.

#29
I ordered mine for store delivery and it stated the 20th but today I got an email saying it was dispatched and would be in store on the 12th instead, so those of you with store delivery may find its there quicker too

the quidco cashback link doesn't work for me - i get a "page not found" error , does it work for anyone else?
#31
had no probs with quidco, only when i used IE9beta. But mine tracked. Try refreshing it as usually clears the problem.
#32
just ordered a solution x x-fix (Lime colour for my boy)

managed to get quidco working by using firefox instead of IE

thanks - great deal
#33
collected mine this afternoon and I am more than pleased with it. It sits far better than the Evolva 123 in my grand Scenic and my daughter looked more comfortable in it, also a little higher. Website also says its for age 4 plus but I had bought it for my 3yo and on the instruction manual it is saying 3+.:D
#34
Just ordered with 8.08% c/back @ TCB..........thanks :3
#35
Ours just arrived and really blown away with the quality very impressive only downside is no cup holder lol!!
#36
Ditto ^ - absolutely love mine - although 'berry' is not everyones cup of tea!! So much happier with this one - took the Graco back to asda today :D
