They've done these for years. I bought a pair which I've never used and quality was ok for a quid.
Heat for the price but the rear one has a tendency to break very easily (on my third pair). Need to cock my leg a bit higher when getting on to stop kicking it.

Had exactly the same thing happen to me with ones I bought from the 99p store (a whole penny cheaper!). Still hot though, for not having a mud splattered bottom!
I bought a pair of these, also for a pound. The front one has a more robust fitting and can be installed back-to-front on the rear of a bike, assuming you have a central fixing point (that's where I put mine; the front one is on my son's bike). It's just big enough to catch the spray which would otherwise head arsewards.
Had this style of mudguards for several years, then splashed out (pardon the pun) on some proper old-style mudguards that wrap around the wheel. Best £25 I've spent on my bike.

These are better than nothing and it's a good price, but you're still going to be getting wet through everytime you turn the handlebars and the spray misses the guard.

I actually enjoy cycling after it's been raining now. I'm like a toddler with a new pair of wellies.
Of course I still get wet if I cycle whilst it's still actually raining.
Spend a an extra fiver and get the ones from Aldi. I had two sets of these and both times I snapped the back one off, very weak hinge on them. The Aldi ones are much stronger and will take some hammering.
Lasted no more than an hour on my bike. The slightest knock to the back one and it breaks
quality is poor on this, easily broken.
I went down and bought one stuck it on my mtb, next time I'm out at the trails will see how it gets on. Guessing people snap them a lot from getting on and off the bike!
Just an update to my previous get what you pay for lol mine lasted 3 days then it snapped when I was getting off it.
