Was torn between this and the micro 2, but this has just had firmware released for it so appears to be better supported.
Discussion about latest firmware

Does this support DTS stereo downmix?... deciding factor as I want to buy this for Mother and Father in-laws who do not have a 5.1 Surround Sound system.
#3
This appears to be £45.12 on ebuyer with supersaver delivery or £40.94 if you're buying something else to take it over the £50 free delivery threshold.

Sold out real quick. Not sure where the post went.

i wish it had not gone, i know for a fact that it said the drive WAS included in my order when i ordered however looking at my order now there is no mention of it having the drive.

searched for the deal but its gone, it is not even expired. the device was not even for me and the max price i was told to go for was 50 notes all in.

Wow, that is an insanely hot deal. 1TB drives are about £40 normally, so you have got yourself a bloody bargain there mate!
#10
i know, i just wish i had a copy of the order as the one showing in my account has no mention of the 1tb drive, even though i am certain it WAS on the add when i ordered.

it is no good to me without hte drive.

ps to the op of this thread..... voted hot as it still seems a good price for this.
#11
Hmmm... Could be tempted...
#12
spooky how the other post has disappeared - this has been this price for a while now - so not really a bargain -but a good product and when i bought from envisage before their cs was decent enough

it was a real deal, I know as i bagged it. Could a mod un mark it, and then expire it?

am sure it wont work for being legally binding but at moment i have no proof if i have to send the product back for not being what i ordered.

fingers crossed i am worryng about nothing and i will get my product.
#15
The amazon deal definitely included the 1tb drive because I checked before ordering. I wonder if the seller realised they made a mistake and requested the post on here be marked as spam to cover their tracks?? Mine will be going back if its not included. I'll check my history to see if I have a screen grab and post it on here is I do.
#16
100% it included a 1TB drive, but I also don’t have any proof. If anyone does please post.

Anyone know if you can unmark it as spam? Seems very wrong that they are able to just take any evidence we had about the deal away so easily, surely the moderators of the site can step in?

Unfortunately there is no google cache for this, but http://www.verygoodoffers.co.uk/offer/14762

This is where I bought mine from just before Christmas.

If you've got an old hard disk hanging about at home you can't do any better.
I have now archived my entire CD (MP3) and DVD (AVI) collection on one, portable player with plenty of room left for MKV movies.

This is the best 'value for money' gadget I have ever bought.

yes it does

Ive had one for about 6 months now, bought from another retailer for £40, and its been the best purchase ive ever made, and i dont doubt that it will continue to be for a very long time..

plus, im on stock firmware still too, didnt even know there was an update..

mine didnt include a drive of any sort for £40, its just an enclosure, but i had a 1tb one laying about which got put to good use, im not sure if this "deal" includes a drive or not..

my order has dissapeared from the amazon site, no sign of it, no cancellation email or anything.'

really poor service, i had no idea it was a missprice, and now it will be too late to order before my parents arrive - it was a gift from them. at the very least i expect a cancellation notice rather than just removing the deal from existence.

Sorry to the OP of this thread, but seeing as the afctual thread for the offer has been taken down, and i know others are viewing this one i had little option.
#22
My order for this is showing on my Amazon account as preparing for dispatch. Sometimes these offers do come through OK. I had a similar one for Police sunglasses a couple of years back for £15 that was removed from hotukdeals and it came through even when I couldn't trace the original deal.
Let me know if anyone else gets an update on this as I am sure there are a lot of us hoping it will still happen.
#23
DOH! turns out my order is still visable on amazon (.co.uk), but for some reason my pc was autologging into an account on amazon.com where it is NOT visable.

the other part of my order which i got to go with this player has been shipped today. hope the rest of it does or i will have ordered tat i do not need.
#24
Mine is reading a a cyclone primus media player, no longer any mention of the drive being included...

Same.. but I don't think it ever stated the 1tb drive in the heading.
But had the "1000gb fitted" on the description list
#26
I hope it is however as if not it is going back, as the OP of this thread posted a better deal for the player on its own (aside from the fact that i am not interested in the player by itsself)

and, IF it was a missprice i would have hoped it would have been cancelled and me received an appology mail by now. that being said, the rest of my order has been shipped now.

Let us know mike mines still awaiting dispatch.
#28
Still awaiting dispatch as well.

Assuming the player without the HDD is delivered, who has to pay return costs? Never sent an item back to an Amazon seller before.
#29
not us that is for sure! the order will be shipped incomplete if we do not get the HDD.

and if nothing else i will be claiming on my credit card for missing part of my order.

given that the rest of my order has shipped i am fully expecting a cancellation, which had that of been Friday would have been fine, however I will be mad if its later this week, as my order has been "processing for despatch" with a warning that it is being packaged so i cant cancel since Friday it would be bang out of order to cancel now imo..
#30
order cancelled. I wouldnt mind but it has taken too long to cancel it imo.

also i now have extra stuff i got with this in mind which i do not need as the rest if my stuff was shipped.
