D-link DGS-105 - Metal 5-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Switch £9.98 + Free Del @ Ebuyer

£9.98 @ Ebuyer
Great little switch, have been using for for 3+ years and never had a problem (very low power usage too). Cheap way to extend the number of network ports off your router.

Surprised Amazon not yet pricematched. Still £17.99 at time of post. Great price from ebuyer.

60% more ports, 60% more money.. yes it's plastic but who cares?

Would be good to have the option of powering the switch via USB. Anyone seen an adapter you could use?

I think the TP-Link 5 port has the option of USB power.

It does. I have one. Would like the metal model to offer the same.

No free delivery with the 8 port plastic one.

It's either the first or third from the right, can't access the extension lead very easily but it gives you some idea of size. The extension socket is also a compact design so not much spare space between sockets.

I cut out a tiny piece of paper, write on it the device it belongs to and stick it to the plug with tape so I can tell what is what.
