Best Price I have seen for this by far

The wartime antics of the Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard were an essential part of the nation's entertainment in the years spanning 1968 to 1977. Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Corporal Jones and Privates Pike, Godfrey, Walker and Frazer would create enough hilarity in their own incompetence and heroic, if misplaced endeavours, but add a vicar, a verger, an overbearing ARP warden - and Pike's mum and the whole thing gelled into a comedy masterpiece. Dad's Army had the lot: class tension; comic characters; farcical situations and hilarious scripts by Jimmy Perry and David Croft and is cherished as one of the nation's favourite situation comedies.

Contains Complete Series: One, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, The Christmas Specials and all 3 surviving episodes of Series Two.

Couldn't agree more
Add £1.99 for P&P unless spending over £30.

Yep :-D
Voted Hot. Fantastic price for a fantastic comedy set. Now if only they can find those missing episodes from series two.
Great price ... BUT .... aren't we supposed to include P&P costs in these posts and aren't we forbidden mentioning Quidco in headings?

I'm not voting either way and not "having a go" at OP but that is my understanding of things?
don't tell him your name Pike
Voted hot as a good price but what an awful series, soooooo unfunny it's unreal.......
don't tell him your name Pike

He told him uncle Arther, he told him
Fantastic price for a slice of proper british comedy at it's best. I paid nearly double this but don't begrudge it. (and yeah I do have the "On the Buses" boxset as well as "Are you being Served"......but Dads Army is my fav!)
Last episode on BBC tomorrow evening:

Season 9 Episode 6 of 6
Never Too Old Lance Corporal Jones finally takes the plunge as he decides to make an honest woman of Mrs Fox. Last-ever episode of the wartime comedy, starring Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, Clive Dunn, John Laurie and Ian Lavender. First shown in 1977

I never liked this show when I was a kid but appreciate it much more now. How the BBC can churn out s**t like My Family shows how quality has dropped over the years. BlackAdder Goes Forth was the last decent comedy I can remember on BBC.
Grandad's birthday present sorted!
Great find - phenomenal price. If you think that each series currently retails at around £4 then you're getting 8 series, the xmas specials and the 'lost episodes' for an absolute bagain!

£2 more gets you the movie thrown in as well.
This set includes the movie
