whoops - sorry :-)

tried quite a few vouchers and none of them worked. I wouldn't be surprised if they have disabled them for this deal.
#8
is this good value as there are some better makes floating around the £300 ish price mark for the last month or so?

I was thinking the same thing. For another £30-60, you're in the Samsung, Toshiba, Sony territory.

hardly cheap for 270 when u can get a sony for 30 quid more.
#11
This was the same price before the 'sale'?

Beware if you want this - according to the "which" review they rated it a "Don't Buy". There were criticisms of the picture, sound and remote. Cheap for a 32" LCD but you will have to live with its performance for a few years. I think it was Rolls Royce who once said "The quality remains long after the price is forgotten."

Could you please tell me which Sony is for £30 more?

My thoughts exactly. There have been a couple deals for better-known brands @ £300 posted here very recently.

If your timing is bad and you have missed them (prob expired now) then I'd just hold off and wait a little while longer for better deals.

Just think about how often you'll use this thing. A TV is something you sit and stare at. If the picture is horrible (as the reviews seggest it is) you'll be regretting it for a long time.

If it's any help to anyone, this is what Which? says about it...

I wouldn't touch the likes of the Swoopo site above. They are just brilliant money making sites that rely on all the poor sods who pay the auction fees. How do you proove you put the highest bid in? You can't.
