£100 Off the usual price,

The Speed combines sporty performance with terrific value. Year after year it remains one of our most popular bikes because of this. The frame is hand-welded from custom-drawn 4130 chromoly Sonus tubing and incorporates six different patented technologies, resulting in what is probably our stiffest frame. The Neos derailleur is fast-shifting and has a nice wide, gear range – perfect for urban riding in most cities.

Low profile Neos derailleur delivers super fast shifts and is protected from damage beneath the chainstay
Folds in less than 15 seconds so you can take it anywhere
The SuperLite 4130 chromoly frame is strong, light and responsive
The Radius Telescope adjustable handlepost adapts to all riders and riding styles

Good price, but with Dahon you need to remember to secure your right trouser leg with a clip or tuck it into your socks. I've ripped countless pairs of trousers by catching them on the lever for the folding mechanism when pedalling.

I've never ripped any trousers on my Dahon.

These are really nice bikes, my only criticism is that the seat and handle bar stems scratch very easily when folding the bike.

Yup, the left hand side of my Jetstream is pretty much wrapped in helicopter tape, and it's still got a few scratches.

The Brompton has a MUCH better folding design, but I really prefer the ride on my Dahon.

These are really useful bikes in the back of a car - but I wouldn't like to carry one far.

This one has the steel frame with less flex. Very rideable.

Good price...
Easy to fold...takes me about 20secs....
Not the lightest of folders....but you can wheel this along after folding , a great "exra"
Doesnt go as small as a brompton...but the bromptons use 16 in wheels...this has 20inch
So this feels like a real bike when riding....
Word of warning though..you do feel the road bumps more...but you soon get used to it
Change the tyres to the "ballon" tye (google them ) for a smoother ride
By the way if you want the "hub" version (easy maintainance..buyt the d7 hg about £379 , shop around)
Happy riding...ps always wear a helmet !

Dahon bikes are well made and rideable. £100 for a cheap, nasty BSO is a rip off.

Sadly people on here don't really get brand names and quality, this is a decent deal. I've bought a cheap bike before now from sports direct, might as well have just tossed £60 into the scrap metal container at the tip.

My wife's had a Dahon for years and she loves it. She doesn't use baboon tyres. ;)

Great bikes, have a vitesse HG and it is brilliant.

Also the chain can be covered with a guard which will keep the trousers clean!

Yep. It's a great way to waste £100.

Price actually 299.99, which is the same as cycles uk and evans (possibly more)
