not sure if this should got a HOT vote......

Someone should forward this to the MOD who claimed yesterday that they 'did not have the technology' to encrypt their databases... good to know last year's £60bn was well spent... sorry, 16gb for £45? I'll vote hot.

Read: 17.6MB/s
Write: 8.8MB/s
According to cclonline (http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?product_id=19585&category_id=147&manufacturer_id=0)
I think for a memory stick of this size i'd prefer a corsair voyager 16GB which is about 31mb read / 18mb write. Or a laptop hdd of course!

yeah i think i saw something like 6mbps writes too. the corsair voyager is twice the price though - hehe maybe a raid stripe of two 8gb drives would be better :-D 32gb models seem to be hitting japan, and plenty of fakes on ebay of course....

i've got a 6gb laptop drive in a bus-powered case, but its still a lot bigger than a usb stick, but a lot faster at 30-40mbps read/write (limited by usb2).

WOW 26GB!! I thought 8GB was the current biggest portable USB pen drive and those were the more chunky looking USB pen drives as well! :o

We have ordered 2 of them on our IT budget at work. They look like a great deal.

Danger Will Robinson...Danger...

Might just be me but every 'bargain' 7daydeals.com sell seems to just be a inevitable slide straight into the dark 'backorder' forest of despair as the cash register goes kerching :x ..Even Fleabay traders also have cheaper postage...I will vouch for the excellent CCL deal though:thumbsup:
