OK I know this has a limited appeal but this is a very good price for new DDR memory which seems to be most expensive for laptops.
May be handy for someone wanting a bit speed from an ageing laptop.

Looks like a good price for something this specialised. Presumably all the cold-voters don't know what this is?

It might be the availability of the item as it's not in stock currently.

This is quite a specific upgrade for people I guess due to the capacity and ddr version.

if you still have a laptop taking ddr ram i think its seriously worth considering a new laptop instead of attempting to upgrade it.

Don't see why. My PC-2700 vintage Dell has a bigger screen with more pixels and a still extremely usable version of XP. It's 7 years old and is still a better machine than most of the ones being sold today. It plays video, runs all the browser toys, runs photoshop very well as well as MS office. Why would I want to spend more on a bloated Vista / 7 machine with a smaller screen and less expansion capabilities?
