This guy is right. Plus if it's anything like the console version it should have upgraded graphics and improved enemy placement. I've only played the SoTFS version and it was great having the DLC at my disposal!

Looks like it's just regular 2 yeah, have you played both? I've finished SoTFS version and all the DLC and have recently picked up the regular version to see the difference. Do you prefer the regular one?

I played through the original at release, and SotFS just a couple of months ago. Mostly I couldn't tell the difference (except for the addition of the DLC, of course) - although there are some new enemies in old areas that are difficult to spot. I preferred the area with the lion thingies in the original compared with SotFS. There are more NPC invasions in the update, though, which I like, and the DLC was good.

With DSII: SotFS $10/10e at IndieGala right now, I'd say it's worth the extra pound or two for getting all the DLC.

Yeah I've played and finished both on PS3 and PS4, and although the remastered version is much superior as it has all the DLC and graphical/performance improvements I really did not like how they remixed the enemy placements on the remastered version. I know it's not a popular statement as most people say it's much better/fairer but found the game to be more of a grind and ultimately less fun than the original.
Wish I could play the remastered version but toggle back to the original enemy placements.

I'm just working my way through Bloodborne DLC for the first time and will be going back to DS2 on PS3 when I'm done so will check out what you've said. Being able to toggle between old and new would have been an amazing feature for SoTFS to have mind. They should have thought of that, I'd never have had to spend the whole £4.00 on getting the PS3 one then!

I finished SoTFS a few months back on the PS4 and thought it was brilliant! Bought the regular version on the Ps3 to compare. Just finishing up on Bloodborne and then going to jump in to it again. Its never going to happen but I really wish they would do a remaster of the DS1 with the prepare to die DLC included as I've not played the Artorias stuff yet. Or even a remaster of Demon's Souls in the DS3 engine, just for the platforming parts, Demon's was a masterpiece but with the additional steadiness under foot in the later games, running at 1080p/60fps like SoTFS it would be even better!!

There almost certainly wont be a remaster of demons as it belongs to sony. But i think ds1 will almost certainly get a hd "remaster" but not by fromsoftware (they have stated they are done with the series) as bandai namco own the rites and will likely see it as a good idea especialy after the sucsess of ds3
