Just about to ask the same thing.

Depends on the games you like. DS2 is very good but very punishing.

This version is the complete game up ress'd with extra content. I think it's worth it.

if you don't mind dying a lot and enjoy a good game then you should buy this

Carnt wait for this to come out. It's the only last gen game I want on new gen before putting my old console in a grave :)

I'll wait for a price drop, under £30 I think unless the games graphics have radically improved?

I don't know if I can go through ranking up all the damn covenants again!

dark souls 1 and 2 are amazing games but you have to stick with them. The graphics of DS2 are amazing with some truly spectacular views, cant wait to see how they are gonna improve upon that for next gen

I've heard great things. only played the first, gave up after 5-6 hours. It was just too hard for me and I play for fun more than anything and I just couldn't enjoy such a brutal game. Bearing in mind I play 9/10 games on the hardest difficulty to extend longetivity!

I've put in far too many hrs in both of these games really worth sticking with and pvp can be so much fun!

The first 5-6 hours of a Souls game are the worst because you haven't acquired enough souls to level up (in any significant way).
It really isn't that difficult once you get past that initial hump.

Plus if you are struggling then co-op is an easy way to gain souls & not be punished should you die as you won't lose your souls.
Dark Souls 1 & Demon's souls are the best games (imo of course) of the last gen, Dark souls 2 was very good but not up to Dark souls 1.
