Yes, most likely you'll get a 33% discount making it £20 but depends if that fiver is worth the 4 month wait and even if they discount it.

I've already finished the game a fair few times on console so not too fussed about waiting. Plus i'd like to wait to see the quality of the port is like before making a purchase.

well, considering the the enormous backlog of games that resulted from the steam summer sale I'd say that 4 months is quite a reasonable wait ;)
The only thing worse than not launching on PC is doing a half arsed port ...

Is the additional content for PC worth purchasing it again, though? I was considering doing the same thing, but I'm still only on Blighttown (or the area with the blow-darting enemies that don't respawn) so I've still got a while to go.

To be fair they said right from the get go the game was never meant for PC, and the port will not look any better than the console version, in fact probably worse..
They said in their forum they were doing it because they had a lot of requests for a PC version, if they now get panned by people because it does not look great, they wont bother again, I think they are nuts as people who own the daft price super machines are allready moaning how it does not look any better and they hate it, OMFG my pc game looks the same as console, worst port EVER!!! crowd

I'm not sure that it's the whaa whaa brigade, it's more to my last point "The only thing worse than not launching on PC is doing a half arsed port ..."
If they can't do the job properly then they would be better not bothering.
I'm quite agnostic when it comes to console vs PC - I have a 360, PS3 and a decent PC. I prefer games on my PC though.

Beleive it or not there are some people who felt making the game have "save" points mid level was a sell out, In Demon Souls (Which i still think is better) you die it was all the way back to the beginning of the level, but it was always fair, in Dark Souls I felt there was sections they just make stupidly difficult as they knew the save point was not to far away, it is certainly easier than demon souls, but is also more frustrating

And there it is!! Exactly why they should never of done a PC port, all the Devs did was try to please everyone and they will end up with a sour taste, even though right from the get go they were very clear it was a console port and not re-written for the PC..
Still vast amounts of PC users are being crictical
