Dark void has now been dropped to £12.99, been a couple of recent reductions for this average game but at this price its surely worth a buy.

it must be terrible - its barely been out a week - the demo was pants mind
#2
anyone that has bought the game... is it worth a punt?... or is the demo an accurate representation, and therefore 'hell no'?

jjezz it isnt that bad, I just thought it was an average and with all the awesomeness out and coming out over the next few months for both the 360 and PS3 it just seems crap

I doubt thats true considering its made by one of the biggest gaming companies in the industry.
Ive played the game but havent completed it. The only let down is the controls, not the best game but it isnt as bad as the people who havent played the game make it out to be.

I never played the demo but I did buy this game the other week for £20 and can honestly say that despite many people’s criticisms regarding this title I am really enjoying it and have no regrets.

Yes the controls take some getting use to, Yes its a bit rough around the edges and Yes it does slow to a crawl on occasion (PS3) but despite these things (and for those who are willing to persevere) it is challenging and rewarding to play.

Games TM give this a solid 6 / 10 and I would say that that is a about right, this is certainly no Damnation but then again it’s no Gears of War.

Buy it stick with it and at this price enjoy it for what it is.

MM

P.S just a hint as most of the weapons have some sort of kick back (until upgraded) to fire more accurately you can target more easily using the L1 and fire.

Will be adding it when it's a fiver.

It probably meas very poor sales and they are trying to get rid of the stock. An average game imo, I won't be getting this even for £5.

Excellent price though. HOT HOT HOT !!!!

I am not falling for this until its between the £4.99-7.99 price range.

I bought Ninja Gaiden 2 the other day for £7.99 (preowned so not worth posting here). £12.99 is still a lot for a guff game.

I played the demo for around 4 minutes, it was appalling.

I noticed the voice overs were done by the same guy who plays Nathan Drake though.

I rented this game and once you get used to the controls it's not a bad game.

Not close to being a great game in any respect or even an average one. A few OK scenes but most of it is pretty rubbish. Especially the flying sequences as the game turns into a distinctly appauling rip-off of Crimson Skies (which in itself is quite ironic).

If this game had better shooting mechanics and a solid frame rate it would be worth it at this price. In my opinion the pretty weak story, aforementioned controls and frame rate issues, crappy frustrating flying sections and extremely lame penultimate level completely spoil what I personally was hoping to be a solid Gears of War-esque TPS.

The only saving grace is that those who are achievement *****s can get about 700+ points in one play through on the hardest difficulty setting.

Awful game but a great price if you actually want to try it. Looked good too so I am glad I demo'd it before buying. Sudden price drop says it all for me.

gr8, very tempting to buy it

£12.99 for a game that's only just come out? Looks like one to avoid on that basis alone
