Not bad. Some people might want to spend a little more and get one of the absolute bargain laptop deals going just now. Very good space-saving option, too

Isn't my definition of cheap, even if they were new, which they aren't. The specification is archaic!

As you point out, they don't exactly shout about them being refurbs, which of course means secondhand, someone bust it, returned it and it has been patched up.

There have been good NEW much much better spec machines on this site posted within the last couple of days which are FAR FAR better deals @ around or under £200. If you haven't got the extra money, I would suggest a piece of paper and a pencil as being a better deal, as this is just throwing money away.

cheap, yes
3 months warranty, yes and?????
archaic, a little over the top dont you think?
dont shout about them being refurbs, hmm at the top of the screen it says refurb/ used PC's, plus all the text is in orange but in bright bold blue writing in the middle of the screen it says Category: Refurb / Used PCs
and right down the bottom it says Refurb/ Used pc's
So it is mentioned 3 times and in a diferent stlye coloured font.

please show us these better deals you talk about, and as for a paper and pencil yes for going on the internet and watching DVD's a pencil and paper is really handy.
In future in you havent got anything to add to a deal dont bother.
I guess you are PC sales person and when an old person walks into a shop and says I want a pc to write a letter on and go on the internet with you show them the highest price one in the shop dont you (i know because I have seen instances like this with my own eyes)

It makes it all the more important to let people know what a rip off these companies are when someone shouts SO loud about any criticism?
Seeing it is so personal, from this anyone reading would think it was lining your pocket, not Bigpockets! I thought *I* got too involved in some of these threads, but I don't actually get upset over them.

The deals I mentioned are there to see, they burst into view when you load the site, and have huge great hot scores! I don't need to show people, they aren't stupid, they are just in need of protection from misleading posts and web sites who are trying to sell old junk by avoiding making it too obvious. If it WAS as obvious as you seem to imply, then why would what I say be of any significance at all?

I was going to ask you how many of these old tin boxes you had bought, seeing as it is the poorest "deal" I have read about for a long time, and was wondering if anyone was going to be daft enough to buy any, unless they had thought it was new. Then I remembered, I won't see the answer anyway, as you have already joined the merry little crowd in my IGNORE list. It really does speed up sorting the small amount of dross from the reams of good information there is on this site.

the point of this site is to get good deals, you just come on here saying this deal is atrocious and then give no evidence whatsoever to back it up

That's how most people in these forums operate. Hundreds of people vote hot/cold/warm without even giving a simple comment to back it up.

Did you really go to the bother of fishing around for his/her previous posts? :?

You people have to much time on your hands:roll:

What IS he waffling on about?

No... don't tell me I don't want to know!

Fair play to garbage456....people should either back up by what they say, or find alternatives for people like me who appreciate the members on this site for finding me good deals!

You posted this, so presumably you DO think this is a good deal?
