No GPS at this price. Apart from that seems reasonable.

Never had dash cam but could do with 2 - one for me one for the wife. Is there anything else you need, I.e. need some form of storage. I don't do a loy of miles so wouldn't want to spend too much.

The majority will need a sd card of some form unless it has onboard storage.
As for how much you want to spend - that depends on the quality of footage you want. If you get a cheap, poor quality camera, you might not get the quality or field of view you need in the event of an accident so probably just as well not to get one. The mileage you do is irrelevant. You can have an accident within 10ft if driving. I'm sure there are threads on here showing a quality v price comparison

Had the Police here yesterday.
Showed them the dashcam video of a loon trying to crash my car.
Loon is now being dealt with.
Don't bother buying cheap.

Mine was £69 and has speed cam alerts and showed my speed as 70 mph when the idiot passed me.
Honest, don't buy cheap.
I have 2 cheap ones that I wouldn't even fit to my shed. :|

I had one of these cheap ones and ened up throwing it away.
Bought a blackvue dashcam from dashcam Warehouse.
Much better quality definitely worth the money and piece of mind.

Got mine on Amazon for around the same price. They have multiple re-branded versions going around. Even Goodmans sell one in Argos for twice the price..

Not 1080p, upscaled and very badly. Run mine @ 720p and it's reasonable. Ended up buying a Transcend 220 with GPS etc and true 1080p on Amazon flash sale @ £89.99... miles apart. Still used this for a rear cam as it's not bad for the price.

Here's a link to cheaper @ £19.88 if you miss out on the Groupon deal.
