I would warn anyone form considering purchasing from Datakits.

Do a search and you'll find I am not alone.

I purchased a bluetoooth headset and it took 3 months and a multitude of communications and eventually a threat of court action to get my money back.

You have been warned......

Oh - was trying to find out its class - thanks!

Is class 4 fast enough though for recording HD? I've only got a 720p video recording mode on my TZ7

If class 4 is fast enough, and I'm going to leave the security of sandisk myself then may just go for this one and save a few quid

What are verbatim like? i've always gone sandisk in the past and they've never let me down - but they're expensive and would rather switch - but would be gutted if i lost a load of photo/video

Not tried the Verbatim myself, but it's a good price - should be a decent card. Tend to go for the Sandisk Extreme III's myself (mainly due to hype I think) as I have had no problems with any other brands.

2 Degrees ONLY?

For shame...for shame.

It's sad how people here do not treat their ears with more respect. Funny how most people shoot their mouths off...with little knowledge of the matter at hand. Ah well. Ignorance is bliss eh?

H&R coming your way mate. We need more posts like these for proper audiophiles. Not the look-at-me-and-my-white-buds generation. Heh.

Hey there, great spot on these phones. Heat.

For those of you who drive motorbikes and use an autocom comms kit, these phones are the beez-kneez for a cut a splice job to use instead of the standard "speakers" that blast your ear and don't seal the sound. Google is your friend on how to do it (really, REALLY simple) and it'll save your ears. You only end up turning the volume on them and blasting your ears, as if helmet noise isn't damaging enough for your ear (read: Tinitus). These fellas you can pop in, have everything on low volume and enjoy the music, chat AND hear the traffic around you (major point of concern when blasting your ears with speakers).

Either way, hope someone finds this comment/deal useful.

well done on reaching 100.

expanding the choices definately does not help lol, it took me 2 weeks of late night researching to make my choice but i'm pretty tight with cash and won't spend it on just anything.
good luck with your choice

Anybody else has any experience with this one?
I use http://zattoo.com/ if I want to watch TV on my PC. Its free.
I've one of these and I have no problems with it at all. The software is a mediacentre type software package that works pretty good with it and you can record to hard drive as well.

I agree that the aerial is useless in most indoor cases however i used it to watch TV on my laptop during my lunch at work loads of times before and i got a perfect picture and great reception. but when i tried it at home it didnt get any channels at all, so its a case of getting a good reception.

Voted hot as far as I'm concerned as these are great items to have. Like most gadgets like these, they only work best in a certain environment. But I have no complaints about them at all.
Mods please remove...£7.99 is obviously better than £14.99

Before buying anything from Datakits I'd do some research on them ...... you have been warned!
Try googling "DATAKITS" +"TERRIBLE"
Can this be connected to a wireless network or does it have to be connected directly to the router?
Pokey;3473528
NAS stands for Network Attached Storage. Basically a single or group of hard drives that are connected to a network instead of a particular machine. Some come with hard drives, and some, like this one, without. Many NAS devices offer added features, such as a print server to share a printer on a network, and some basic file serving and backup options. Some, like the Qnaps. are incredible devices and offer highly advanced features, too many to fully explain, so see here if interested.

prob with qnaps is the processor and memory in my opinion arent high spec enough...even worse for qnaps is the memory isnt, reportedly, upgradeable....still decidely whether to go a qnap 2 disk or readynas 2 disk....given up on the idea of a 4 or 5 disk option as they are just way too expensive for what is a 'nice to have item'
good site here with lots of options including qnap, readynas, synology, etc

I'd recommend these too - particularly good on flights if you're a bit phobic like me, as they seem to eliminate all those rumbling cranking noises that I always assume is the sound of the wings falling off.

They only work for low frequency noise though so no good for shrieking kids on the train - in fact they seem to amplify them as they remove the train rumble so you can hear them more clearly - as I can attest. :x

They also don't remove the sound of the woman on my bus every morning who sings about Jesus. :)

Yes, I have a pair too and can thoroughly recommend them. Excellent audio quality and the noise cancelling function works great on flights etc. Paid a lot more than this though :x

I've not used them before but a mate of mine bought some bits from them by going to their premises in Portsmouth and he found them helpful
Seems like a nice player, combine it with the 8gb flash drive from play and say goodbye to hooking up your PC to watch your avi files!

At the end of the day the Audica's look more like PC speakers and a lot of the reviews for them are for exactly that. This Klipsch is hailed as better than the Bose system and a lot cheaper. Hope you all enjoy them!
B33fy;1622429
Each to their own I guess, but to me the Klipsch looks good sounds good and also you can control the ipod with the remote (skip tracks) which I find useful, anyone buying a Klipsch would not be disappointed

i'll second that, just not happy i paid 20 quid more;-)
carleast;1621843
You lot are mad going for these ahead of the Audica's. The strangest thing that I've seen on this forum since I joined.
