Do these have sim cards in them that can be removed then?

Awful reviews all over the web. Seems extremely unreliable for what it claims do it (i.e. allowing anywhere access to the net).

and in that respect would match the retailer perfectly...extremely unreliable!

i used to have one, they are not what they are cracked up to be. You are better off using a smart phone or a dongle. Trust me.

I seen this advertised in a national newspaper. The small print states, the sim card is non removable and that once the 24 month free internet access is over, its £30 per month for 30 HOURS oO

This item was unbelievably slow and unreliable .I lost e-mails ;the keypad broke ; access to the network was slow; it was frequently locked and support from ubisurfer was non-existent-only 5% of calls were answered .Ideal were even less helpful takng 10 weeks to decide upon a refund as yet unpaid .cheap in every sense.

I bought one of these machines a couple of years ago,it was diabolical. When i first bought it from a tv shopping company.I was extremely unhappy with it,it took ages to boot up,half of the time i couldnt get a good enough signal from the aerial they supplied. You cant put any 3rd party apps on it either. One good plus point though is that it worked ace plugged into my broadband but as for it being good for taking anywhere and using it,a previous poster was right.get a smart phone instead.

Was led to believe would connect to broadband purchased from Ideal World not happy about unable to connect to private Wi Fi. Purchased 7 and 9inch version no Ethernet port on mine, purchased to learn on only wish had bought net book do not use at all now too slow need someone to buy from me ok to learn on. Having said that got good length of time to practice computer. Derek Ramshaw.
