I spotted this 1GB pen drive at BigPockets. Admittedly you can get higher-capacity drives for not much more, but this one is only 2.1mm thick - around the thickness of a 50p piece!

Anyone know if these have any kind of cover on the contact points? Pity about the postage, but still seems ok to me for an extremely thin USB key.

Had a look and cannot locate any. Could you provide a link.

It's a good price for the stick itself, but it is a shame about the postage cost.

TBH it's about the same price - although DX have a 2GB for $9.49 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4730

Then again, at least wih bigpockets it's a UK company and you shouldn't have to wait a couple of weeks for it to arriive (although never ordered from them myself)

2gb transcend version is £4.47 delivered from ebay shops ( buy-it-now not auction)
I don't think i am allowed to link to them on ebay - even though its buy-it-now from an ebay shop. But seach for 2gb mini usb drive and you will find them

They are guaranteed for life. I have one and keep it in my wallet. Its thin enough to slip on top of a credit card and stil allow the wallet to close.

I have portableapps stuck on it . It means you are never stuck for progams on any PC. I have office software , photo editing , MP3 playing and tag editing ; PDF viewer and lots more that all run from this tiny USB drive.
