Manufacturer's Description
Installation
Under most operating systems the Datawrite USB Voyager is plug_and_play. This means inserting the drive connection the relevant way round into a USB port and waiting on the operating system to recognise it. Windows usually has an auto menu function that comes up and gives you options such as open the drive folder or view multimedia files held on the drive. One of the options can be selected by clicking on it or you can cancel this menu and use the drive in the same manner as you would a hard disk or floppy disk.
Saving Files
In order to save files to USB flash storage devices. Click on File | Save As from the top menu. A box will appear. Click on the menu box to the right of Save In and from the drop down menu select Removable Disk. Then give your File a name as you would normally and click the Save button.
Opening Files
Opening files from USB flash storage devices is done in a similar way to saving. Click on File | Open from the top menu. A box will appear. Click on the menu box to the right of Look In and from the drop down menu select Removable Disk. Then click on the file you wish to open and finally click on the Open button.
Deleting Files
Deleting files from USB storage devices works in the same way as deleting from floppy discs or hard disks. Firstly Click on the Start Menu | All Programs | Accessories. Then select Windows Explorer. When the box pops up click on the my computer label on the left hand side. A list of your drives will appear below my computer please click on Removable Disk. Now the contents of the Removable Disk will appear on the right hand side of the box. Select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to delete by clicking the right mouse button while the pointer is over it and selecting delete from the menu.

Of course, if you haven't already bought the Hellman's book and order at the same time, you could reduce this to £14.14 including delivery...

Good deal, the Hellmans code rules :)

Bad reviews tho :(

Decent price, but have you seen the reviews? Cant say its sounding the best available option.

Think I would opt for the Kingston too at £1 more [Thanks deanos :)].

The Amazon reviews are mainly data speed related I think, so as storage goes, it's not a bad deal.

Welcome to HotUKDeals robertvan1q and SmokinMonkey by the way :santa:

The Datawrite stick is best avoided, especially if you use it for backups. Well worth spending the extra £1 on the Kingston or £4 on the Sandisk Cruzer Micro with "no-cap" feature :)

Okay, I've decided that I shouldn't have posted this, with so many bad reports on it and I wouldn't want anyone wasting their money just because of its low price.

Oh Ray, it wasn't that bad!!

Ah but I don't want anyone wasting their money on something that might be a big let down, especially at this time of year when it would be difficult to exchange it :santa:

I'll help out with the freezing, it's my favourite past time, but only cause your doing it yourself and the reviews are pretty dire.:santa:  :)

There it looks much less appealing now. Lets find the ultimate memory stick deal to beat the £6.00 sandisk one from the other day, not neccassarily on price alone but quality.:santa:

The best deal (great price/quality) has been already posted here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37085&highlight=SanDisk+Cruzer
