Sorry I was thinking out loud, what I meant to say is that by the time Christmas dinner is served Dave will have been burping, laughing crying and breaking wind for about seven hours straight at which point he would have outstayed his welcome.

I am sure I’m not alone as thousands of these tacky novelty monkey's will be having there batteries removed and finding new homes at the bottom of the wheelie bins up and down the country.

But do not worry give it a couple of months and you will find these cheeky chaps reappearing in your local pound shop ;)

Maybe so for some households but would you rather pay £25 at some places for the same toy or £14.99 - Wether you like the item or think its should burn in hell lol its still a good price! Poor Dave, he will be loved in our house <3

Do you know it's tat because you have bought one? If not, then I'll stick to the excellent reviews on Argos and Amazon, by people who actually own them. :p

I can see how this might be annoying to some but as an occasionally entertainer and some Christmas day cheer I think it is a good price and it is including the batteries as well. Reserved and heat added

Saw it being demonstrated at a store in Hempstead Valley in Kent and most folk spent about 30-40 seconds looking to see what the noise was before walking away. That was enough to show myself and others what a piece of rubbish this is.

Wow..posted the deal this morning and its over 300' - Impressed!!!

Thanks everyone for the heat and the positive comments.

I can see my dad losing his temper when my nephews running around with the monkey making it repeat itself etc... but if you take the time to sit down and work out how each button works then it wont be doing the same repetitive thing over and over.... there are over 30 actions and pressing certain buttons at the same time etc creates different actions/sounds. Take the time to learn how to use it and it can be a great fun item. :D

£16.89 on Amazon, so went for that. Would have paid the same in petrol if I went to pick it up from Argos any ways!

Hope you get it in time for Xmas..... Weather that we are due & postal backlog due to previous weather problems & big problems Amazon are having the moment...?

For the price this is hot, but are they really "out of stock at most places"? Just today I've seen them in Debenhams, GameZone, Men Kind and TK Maxx.

For the cheaper price of £10 / £12 they are out of stock at those places..... but they are in stock at places that are selling them for £20/£25 such as Play.com £21.99 !
