I have no personal experience of this screen, but this seems a cracking price for a 30" monitor.

It's being sold by Pixmania, a company who are able to offer low prices by selling grey-imports and not fulfilling some orders or issuing refunds when they lie about having things in stock. They're not a company to trust.

Wouldn't touch daewoo after using their rubbish dvd recrder and wouldn't buy from Pixmania!

But that would not do 2560 x 1600?

LCD monitors designed for computers have much better quality panels and higher resolutions generally.

I think it s a good price, especialy when you compare it to the Apple monitors!

VOTED HOT

Though I'm as clueless as those who voted COLD.

Looks an amazing price for an 2560x1600 monitor.

Because an LCD TV would have a resolution of 1280x720 or 1366x768 compared to the 2560x1600 on this. So a TV may be half the price but it's half the resolution too.

Joke in what way? Here are the usual prices of 30" monitors.

In case you weren't being sarcastic; LCD and TFT are the same thing.

Does anyone know of any LCD TV's with PC input that would give anywhere near the quality & resolution of a dedicated monitor. I was thinking of buying a 28" - 32" TV to be used also as my main PC monitor. I cant afford a PC big monitor.

an idiot expired it?

Only saying that because of some of the comments on this thread.

Its £500 less than the Apple and has double the warranty. (2 years)

You are completely wrong there, I have two 22" Daewoo monitors both are brilliant, The 22" models have Samsung panels:thumbsup: I am not sure what the 30" has but Daewoo are certainly not **** but Pixmania are.
