Polite, pensive, mature, reserved ... Charlie Brooker is none of these things and less. Rude, unhinged, outrageous, and above all funny, "Dawn of the Dumb" is essential reading for anyone with a brain and a spinal cord. And hands for turning the pages. Picking up where his hilarious "Screen Burn" left off, "Dawn of the Dumb" collects the best of Charlie Brooker's recent TV writing, together with uproarious spleen-venting diatribes on a range of non-televisual subjects - tackling everything from David Cameron to human hair.

Screen Burn also available for £3 HERE

Finally, a comprehensive collection of Charlie Brooker's hilarious Guardian Guide television column "Screen Burn". Possibly the angriest man in the world, Brooker (creator of the cult website TVGoHome) rips into his targets with merciless glee and an impossibly deft and scatalogical turn of phrase. Not a book that you can reliably read in public without letting out convulsive gulps of laughter, Charlie systematically demolishes Casualty, Simon Cowell, the Queen's speech, Jamie Oliver, Gillian McKeith, and pretty much anyone else who comes into range. If you're worried about the amount of rubbish on your TV these days then have no fear, Charlie Brooker is in your corner, and he's not going down without a fight!

Well worth £3!

I've bought both of these recently, Screen Burn is about TV that was on in the year 2000, & most of it is about shows I wouldn't have watched anyway, so found it a bit hard to finish.

Good prices - Screen Burn is a repost from less than a month ago though.

Actually that post mentions both books so this deal is a repost - spammed.

No, it was by me. This post is a duplicate of mine but the books have been swapped over. I could have done this myself but didnt see the point.

There are some double standards by the moderators on this site. I know they've got rules to follow.... it's just a pity they only seem to follow them when they work in their own favour:whistling:
