I'm guessing Bad company 2 will be a bit more expensive, but we'll see. Thanks for telling.

Now live and I've updated the price of BFBC2. £6.80!

Deal has gone live, and prices are correct.

Also includes Battlefield Bad Company 2: SPACACT Kit Upgrade for £1.99 (50% off)

EDIT: Argh it's so tempting to get Bad Company 2 for £6.80, but I know I'll never play it.

MoH Airborne might be worth it for £2.50 though :(

Medal of Honour Airborne worth it at this price?
#5
Ordered BFBC2 and MoH, Heat from me, Airbourne is ok but not the greatest.

BC2 is one of my all time favourite games. If you like FPS games then this is a really good deal. I have spent hours and hours on it and really do still love the game. Bargain price.
#7
great prices already played bfbc2 and vietnam to death on ps3 but will buy and the moh games probably as well.
#8
best deal form Ea all week, sadly got them all already
#9
hot, bought medal of honor, people say it is bad but I want to find out for myself, good price for bc2 as well but I already have it
#10
The best of those is Battlefield Bad Company 2, very refined miltiplayer, loads of servers and players, very diverse.

Medal of honor isnt great, but its still fun to be had for £10

I have less than 10 hours logged on Medal of Honor, and 164 hours logged on Battlefield BC2 :)

I was tempted to rebuy Battlefield 2, but heard its not popular online anymore, few servers, hackers and bots. Can anyone vouch for this? I just remember how awesome it used to be

There's still a dedicated following but yes, those problems exist. Servers are either pretending to have players in (players show up in server browser but are bots or fake names), or full of nade spammers.

It's a shadow of it's former self really.

Am I right in thinking there's no single-player on Vietnam?
#16
Battlefield 2 is a great game for anyone that has not played it before. Highly recommended! 10/10

Vietnam its just an addon, you need BC2 to play it, and yes its just few multi-player maps
#18
cheers

Just get BRINK for £20 if you got the money but can't decide :)
#20
bought bc2 fell into the temptation

Another victim of the euro-steam crap if you live outside of the UK.
Bad Company 2 is €13.60= £12.19
Medal of Honor is €14.99=13.43

Thank you Valve...

Now I hate to be a complete **** here but could you just put in the original title that it's actually Bad Company 2: Vietnam? Got my hopes up with a revival of the Original BF:Vietnam, awesome game.

I have BC2 on PS3 but I now have an awesome PC, is it worth buying again?

Changed it just for you

Oh btw to run BF2 on Windows 7 you need to:

Disable desktop composition on the compatibility tab on the BF2 game shortcut

and

Disable Steam Community in Steam In-Game settings.

If you don't do those two things you might run into problems running BF2 on Win7 / Vista.

:)

I know right, it's a complete pain. Luckily I'm usually more interested in boxed copies anyway and it's only a matter of time before you can get a boxed copy for about 10 pounds.. I hope.

its a heck of a lot more than just a few maps, you mistaking this for a rip-off COD DLC LMAO, Vietnam is a almost completely new game bolted onto Bad company 2, 6 new maps, 15 vehicles and 6 weapons including flamethrower and vehicle perks etc. They've changed the game mechanics also, its now far more upclose and personal due to lack of ranged scopes and weaker sniper options, then theres all the 49 tracks of period music too... "just a few maps"

I think you should revise your comment as you make it sound like the game is broken in Windows 7, when I've had no issues on several different computers with the OS and never heard of anyone having problems

All I've ever had to do with BF2, is disable Steam overlay because it interferes with Punkbuster.

sounds more like you had an issue in port forwarding or firewalls than issue of the game itself, if you correctly setup firewalls for the game and punkbuster you never have issues
#32
Grr! I ordered BC2 yesterday from Amazon for £11 as well, proper gutted about this as I've been keeping an eye on Steam for a while now waiting for a price drop.

Punkbuster will kick you if you run an overlay program like Steam with a game not designed for it.

WHAT!!! No Codename Eagle.....

So tempted to get B:BC2 but last time I got hopelessly addicted and my real life ebbed away (on 360). Plus the 3rd one is out soon, isn't it?
#36
i have connectivity issues with this i cant join a game =[
#37
Can someone please help me out here??

So I bought BF2 and installed Gamerspy Comrade and then created an account on that. When I log in and click on Smartmatch to get into a server (and then get into a server) it connects me to the game and then asks for my login details. That is where the problem starts- I can't use my Gamerspy login details for some reason....any idea as to why that's happening guys?

The login details are EA Account details. If you don't have one then register in game.

The EA details don't work. Also, when you click on 'create an account' it mentions that this is your gamespy details and not EA. I've already got an EA account with a few dozen games but my account isn't working on it. >.<
