RARE TO BE ON SALE

Welcome to the world of DayZ, hit by a new and presently unknown infection which has wiped out most of the world's population. You are one of the few that have survived and now you must search this new wasteland in order to fight for your life against what is left of the indigenous population now infected with the disease. Go solo, team up with friends or take on the world, as you choose your path in this brutal and chilling landscape using whatever means you stumble upon to survive.

I know we don't direct towards eBay but I picked up a copy for £14 (worked out at £14 from USD to GBP) from an American dude. Got the code that day in email.

native controller support on a pc, cant you use a keyboard and mouse like most other pc gamers? it think you would find this very difficult to play with a controller.

Have to admit I want this myself but only 15% off? That's not a deal, that's lame, I'd be happy at the £10 mark.

I refuse to use kb&m IMO they suck, when playing multiplayer is see no advantage given to other players compare to how I play lol, everbody has their prefference so if we want controller support.....using kb&m is not an answer......xpadder is!!!!!

Usually I would agree that using a pad is fine in some cases, but I don't see how you would work the UI and inventory system with an xbox pad? Just out of interest anyone know if this is actually do-able?

Does anyone use the TF Outpost? I was pretty new to it - but they trade games for keys found/won/bought from TF2.

They are usually £1.40 each, then games are based on this price. I picked up Rust on practically day of release for 6 keys (£8.40), got Grim Dawn the other day, which is a beta for 6 keys (£8.40, its about £20 on Steam).

But, my mates all got on DayZ and they picked theres up for around 7-8 keys each (£9.80-£11.20)

If anyones interested, I can dig out the links and post some screenshots of some of the deals ive had.

It won't be cheaper in this sale, if you're not wanting to wait for another sale then pick it up now. Deals don't go cheaper than the daily, community and flash deals and all 3 of those get the same discount. It's only worth waiting if a game you want hasn't appeared in any of those so far, in which case you should wait until the last day of the sale so you're sure it won't go cheaper.

It will be since it just uses the mouse for those and with something like XPadder you'd just be telling it the triggers are left and right click and set the right stick to control the cursor.

Not every PC gamer wants to use a keyboard and mouse, not everyone who prefers a control pad wants to use a console. It's not a stretch to expect control pad support these days with Valve pushing Steam OS and Steam Big Picture Mode.

The great thing about playing on PC is that we have the choice to use whatever input we like, M+K, 360 pad, PS pad and even cheapo pad from pound shop lol!
