got the 59 at £270 which has long tube and motorised head but you could probably buy those bits for this, the body looks the same. Hot

My DC34 packed up just out of guarentee

usually companies are reasonable if only slightly out of warranty especially on things that are quite expensive, tweet them, put a bit of pressure on, stand your ground, escalate it to another staff member or manager and see what happens. If it's the battery or a replaceable part they have spares you can purchase.

guess i have that to look forward to in 2 years, what can they do if thats just the lifetime of a battery though
