De Icer 'Trigger Type'.

No need to worry about iced-up windscreens this winter. Winter driving is simpler when you can clear your frozen windscreen quickly and easily with this trigger-pull de-icer bottle. It's easy to hold, easy to use and easily one of the best value ways to beat winter ice.

Strips paint like paint stripper.

Fill a jug with tepid water and use that to clean your screen - much cheaper!

And no it won't crack your screen, been using ths method for 25+ years.

I need to clear the 2 ft of snow off my drive and windscreen before I de-ice it!!

Great way to start the day off with cramp in your hand. I have some of this but if it is a little breezy it blows away before it hits the screen

Got this and it was rubbish. Sprays a fine mist that is no good at all. The smell is really strong too.
Got a Holts spray can from Argos for £1.49 instead. Bigger and works a lot better.

Hot! The spray cans really DO NOT work or at least you have to use the entire thing! I find these style bottles last me about 10-12 days of frost - 10p to deice your car in seconds. Worth it!

Plus the spray cans bloody freeze to your hand, generating hypothermia! Triggers ftw

Spray cans are fine if you use them sparingly. I just do an S shape on each car window and it melts the ice in a minute or 2. Wear gloves to keep your hands warm whilst holding the can and you won't get hypothermia.
