Thanks for this, just picked one up. I blew the turntable motor on mine and they wanted £30 for a new motor!!!!

this micro is massive, got one a couple of weeks ago as the one I went in for was more expensive instore than online, but it was to big so took it back and they gave me the original one for the online price.

They make lots of claims on the site you've linked to but offer nothing in the way of evidence.

Scary stuff! I've ALWAYS had my reservations about the saftey of microwaves, was going to buy one but not going to bother now! Will stick to warming my baby's food in pots and pans!
Don't put your head in it and you'll be fine
We just bought this microwave 3 days ago and it is a good size and some good features.

Don't forget Reserve and Collect for Argos purchases through Quidco.
Bought one six months ago it lasted 5 days then stopped working. The door also had to be banged so hard to close but it was a good size, myabe we just got a bad one?

So you voted cold because of some scare mongering website?

Yeah lets find a website for everything, to say its bad, just to show how rediculous it's getting

So does masturbation but it does not stop us doing it. :p
Good price. Seems to be lots of stock near me. Collected mine already but won't be setting it up for a day or two. Thanks OP.
Bought a similar De'Longhi microwave from argos previously and it was totally crap, the light bulb goes within a month:x

I would personally stay away from De'Longhi products, pure and utter crap.
For fear of repeating myself....

Delonghi do not make microwaves take a look at their site if you don't believe me.

These are OEM models which Argos pays Delonghi a small fee to put their name on. You are better off buying a supermarket own brand microwave as they are usually cheaper and often the same quality and often from the same factory as these.

To be fair it is not only Argos who do this, as most of the high street shops are just as guilty. IMO it is scandalous that they get away with this.
My biggest issue with this is being 900w.. and heating category D.. a 900w should be category E ( 800w+ is usually E ) this leads me to think that the microwave is hugely inefficient.
Are Argos ok with returning these, if I feel its too big once I get home..?

I know Argos can be funny with their returns..
been using microwaves for over 25 years and apart from having one child with a second head, we’ve had no problems at all.
The cooking signatures microwave (or whatever the make is) from a few days ago looks a better deal, £40 and has a grill as well.
I bet this thing is made with dihydrogen monoxide too
