Was in HMV (oxford street) today as they have A LOT of cd's on offer for 2 for £10 and noticed at the entrance they were advertising that if you traded in your copy of modern warfare 2 they will knock the price of Dead Rising 2 from £40 to £20. Far as I could tell it was for PS3 and XBOX 360

Im going back down there tomorrow to get it myself, well worth it considering the new COD is out next month.

Bare in mind this is probably store specific and the store i visited was the HMV on oxford street, a few minutes from Topshop. They also had a giant man sized zombie statue outside advertising the game for sale (pic included) which was pretty cool.

trade value on this at cex is £16, so isn't a bad deal
You can get trade in value of £18 cash for MW2 on PS3, so why would you want to trade it in at HMV and only get a tenner for it?
What are you on about? If you trade it in conjunction with purchasing DR2 you get DR2 for £20 not £40. 40 - 20 = 20 not 10.

40 is pretty steep for this game im sure i saw someone flog it on here sealed for 27 or 28
DR2 will probably be about £20 in a couple of months, keep you MW2 copy.
If HMV did this deal for Medal of Honour when that is released, that'd make more sense.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it's £29.99 -

Therefore you're really only getting a tenner for it
