Seems less of a good deal when you consider buying them separately is cheaper lol.

I put the pack in so I could link to the page with both games

These are probably two of my favourite games ever, so have some heat. It will be good to replay on 4k.

For sheer atmosphere and story telling, they are hard to beat; it's such a shame the third in the series was such a disappointment in comparison to its predecessors. A proper Event Horizon-esque adventure with fantastic graphics, artwork, set pieces and some wonderful sound design. I was never convinced Dead Space 2 would come anywhere close to what I perceived was the brilliance of Dead Space 1, but it delivers and delivers in a way that most sequels only wish they could. If for any reason you've somehow bypassed these two absolute gems, take the plunge at this price... you won't be disappointed.

If only it were somehow possible to play these alone in the centre of an Odeon 4K main screen cinema... That would be amazing... Hey, I'm allowed to dream!

I voted hot, just thought it was funny and was a play on your opening text.

Don't forget that you may already have these in your Origin account from the EA Humble Bundle!

Fantastic games, great prices.

That dream will change when you start meeting girls. :)
Nice thought tho.

The first one is one of my favourite games ever, it's superb.

I tend to pretend it never had any sequels though, DS3 was particularly bad but DS2 still didn't have the same atmosphere as the first and suddenly making Isaac a talking protagonist (and a poor one at that) spoiled it for me.

Lol! Unfortunately being a Leonard to several Pennies throughout my not so short existence has taught me that sometimes you have to do what you can to cling to your geeky dreams without shame, as sometimes those sweet and adorable Pennies turn out to be far more disturbing than anything you'll encounter in either of these games! Well, in my experience anyway. Though, it's more of a Bernadette thing now... and she agrees with all of the above!

Actually, yes, I must agree with you on that point, totally slipped my mind! It did take something away from being somehow "connected" with the character as such, as you could more or less simply lose yourself in the role of Isaac, but not so much as to ruin the game thankfully. So, yes, if they'd have stuck with the original train of thought for the character, then the sequel would have been on a whole other level, (the original having a wonderfully dark, sci-fi Gothic look and feel imbued with real tension and claustrophobia), but I felt it was a worthy sequel still.

So, now that you own these 2 classics, did you get a chance to start them, or are you like me, who has a list of nearly 300 steam games and has played about 3...?
