Engineer Isaac Clarke returns for another blood-curdling adventure in the sequel to the critically acclaimed Dead Space. After waking from a coma on a massive space city known as "The Sprawl", the lone survivor of a horrific alien infestation finds himself confronting a catastrophic new nightmare.

Battling dementia, hunted by the government, and haunted by visions of his dead girlfriend, Isaac will do whatever it takes to save himself and dominate the gruesome onslaught. With an arsenal of tools to dismember Necromorphs and new determination, an engineer will bring the terror to space.

Dead Space 2 features new tools to gruesomely slice and dismember the Necromorphs complement Isaac's signature plasma cutter, empowering him as he meets new characters, explores epic Zero-G environments, and fights against a relentless Necromorph onslaught. Survival isn't the only thing on Isaac's mind in Dead Space 2 - this time, he calls the shots!

I really don't see the heat in these price matches against Tesco when you get 8% cashback with them :| Not voting as on it's own it's a penny cheaper, but when taking cashback into account, its over a quid more expensive.

Agreed - and Clubcard points at Tesco too lol !

Probably because not everybody deals with cashback, and they're looking solely for the best outright purchase price.

Yeah hence I decided not to vote on it as many sites started pushing the £23.99 price. Personally for me the Tesco one was the better deal.

Lukewarm.

Like others have said - The Tesco deal is better:

- More cashback
- Clubcard points
- I received my copy of the game the very next day, Play delivery is utter crap

not if he is going to try impossible - i know i wont have the patience to play through the game on hardcore and only have 3 saves for the entire game. one mistake could mean 4 hours wasted....

im sure it will be £18 soon but not for the LE version, unless its as limited as the halo 3 legendary edition.

It seems everyone is just price matching each other but I'd go for the Tesco deal for cashback, or the GAME deal if you want quick delivery. Order anything from play.com these days and expect it 10 days later after it's stuck on "processing" 4 days after ordering. Terrible service if you want something delivered quickly.

Agreed, dead space extraction which is included is £11.99 on PSN if my memory serves me right! Glad I held of buying it as now it means I get dead space 2 chucked in for £12!!

Nicely nicely :D

why hot when its cheaper at gamestation or tescos (after cashback) and far quicker delivery?

not to mention some of your hard earned goes back into the government coffers unlike play.com ;)

Handy for us folks that always keep a few squid tucked away in our playtrade accounts.

Girlfriend bought me this the other day from Tesco for £22 (discount) and currently Chapter 7, 3 hours in. Loving it. Glad I didn't buy it though as its over pretty quick I think. And the Multiplayer is super super crap.
