As the title says, saw this today in town, didn't pick it up as I presumed it would be cheaper on-line, however it appears not, will be picking one up tomorrow then, had plenty on the shelf.

On-line price is £26.98 delivered.

Ha ha, like it, I meant it went to -16° within around 5 mins, it's now back up to 71°. The game itself looks good, a mate has it a rates it very highly. I'm just to tight to pay over £20 for a game, cheaper the better. Now its under that it's all mine tomorrow :-D

Bought this today from Game for £29.99 down from £39.99, had a Game voucher from christmas so didnt have much choice.

Great price voted hot!!

Awesome. £24.99 at PCW, was going to pick it up from there but Gamestation will do. :)

The best game I have played since Resi 4on the Gamecube. Well thought out and shiny throughout plus pant wettingly scary.

Recommended to all horror game fans. Reminded me of Bioshock.

Brilliant game, brilliant price great find!

Just think of resi 4 in space.

I know this isn't a game review site, but i'm the biggest horror game fan (pretty much all my 360 games are horrors, and i love bioshock and the like) - and i think this game was a big let down.

Sure it looks amazing and great monsters, but a bad storyline, and it's alot of going back from room to room and backwards and forwards, walking very slowly, doing nothing but flipping switches and shooting monsters.

Very dull, not very immersive game. Big dissapointment.

I played the demo and came to this conclusion. I was rather hoping the full game would not be the same :-(

Nah im glad you agree cos i'm really going against the tide in my opinion.

It really is - and it's not very scary at all. It's just ugly monsters.

BioShock is a much better, more varied game. But seriously, this one will just have you going backwards and forwards, using different things to flip different switches.

anyone played this game at night?

Agree, the graphics are great, but walking around doing the same thing over and over gets repetitive very quickly. I was expecting so much more. I've heard people comparing it to Resi 4, which is total madness - Resi 4 is in a different league!

bought this from PCW today for just under £20, its a highly polished game and will literally scare the **** outta you..

i played for 90 mins tonight and was so uptight i needed a break.. proper horror survival game.
#17
As another poster stated, get it at Currys with 4% cashback which comes to £19.18 all in. Still, £20 is a good price.

Horses for courses i think, i REALLY disliked bio shock, but i am enjoying this..

Has a lot to do with the sound quality and you do a lot of 'fetching' but i have not been so on edge in a game since Doom II or alien in the late 80's.. ;)

for £20 buy it.. you will probably still get £23 trade in at Game and the like if you don like it!

Bioshock was, is, fantastic.

scary game, i mean brown pants type of scary.

This is one of the games i've kept on the radar and as i have recently traded a few things do have Gamesation credit to burn, but too many unplayed games to justify yet.... By the time i need a game it may only be a £10....

Is it 360 also at this price does anyone know?
#23
Good game overall.

Especially when you play at night with the lights turned off and the amp turned up to 13!

The demo doesn't do the game any justice, I wasn't keen on the demo but Got a copy for crimbo and it's good.

I think this is better than Bioshock I find it boring ie very samey throughout the game, as for Dead Space your in a space ship so your going to enter same rooms.

We all have different tastes :)

Went into my local gamestation also (Bridgend) and they too said it was £27.98.
