Deadwood Complete box set only £29.43 (enter HUTDVD50 voucher at checkout), which seems to be the best price around at the moment, but I would beware when ordering as mine turned up in a Jiffy bag, with a bit of a dent at the bottom of the box and one of the DVD spindles broken.

7 other online stores have this for £29.89 - £29.97, for those worried about The Hut's packing.

But those seven other stores are all part of 'The Hut' group, basically they are all owned by The Hut so whichever one you order from it's still going to come from the same warehouse/company so the packaging is going to be risky from any one of those you order from. But The Hut's price at the moment is the cheapest.

I never bothered sending mine back because the dent isn't exactly that big and it's not like the box set is going to be doing anything other than sitting on a shelf so it doesn't matter if one disc is loose.

Deadwood is a great series.

The fact they are down to £30 for all three is ace.

I am sure I spent at least £20 on each.

Really wanted the Region 1 versions as they had much more extras than the UK releases.

Great price, just ordered:thumbsup:

Just finished the first series - Gritty but ace!

Bought the 3 series for £45 in March!

Just finished watching all three seasons in a Deadwood-style marathon- INCREDIBLE series, gutted there won't be any more. A feature-length movie was apparently on the cards for a while, bt never happened :x

Btw this box-set has the best design & durability of any I've purchased, worth every penny!

Great deal ... but I am going to buck the trend here. I watched the first series and thought it was just ok. I found it tough to understand, there was too much over acting in it for my liking, and Ian McShane will forever be that stupid Lovejoy fella despite his best efforts to be a trendy HBO actor.

On the flipside, the storyline is quite interesting and everyone else seems to really like it. Maybe I need to start watching it again from the start ...

That's fair enough but i don't understand why make a special mention in your title post to 'beware when ordering" in that case??

To let people know that the item could 'possibly' be damaged during shipping, it's upto them if they want to order at this cheap price but their may be risk involved, I'm not saying 'yes, all orders from The Hut group stores will be damaged in shipping', I was just making a note to alert people to the possibility.

Voucher now expired - but as it's only 50p I have amended the price rather than expire this deal
