What our wine expert said...
"The Private Selection range of wines showcases premium wines made with grapes from Mondavi's coastal vineyards. This mixed case contains 2 bottles each of the following wines: Robert Mondavi Private Selection Pinot Noir 2005: fresh, leafy, strawberry and cherry flavours, subtle tannins and a hint of cinnamon make this an ideal accompaniement for roast chicken. Robert Mondavi Private Selection Chardonnay 2005: ripe pear, apple and peach mingle with buttercream, vanilla, honey and baked bread in this full-flavoured Chardonnay. Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2004: dry and full-bodied in style but with delicious sweet, juicy blackberry and violet flavours, soft oak nuances and a hint of pepper."

I don't drink, but this seems like a good deal.
I'll warm it up a bit, I don't think Wine should be kept at minus 6.8 :whistling:

In my opinion this is some of the best wine in the world today. The Mondavi vineyards are based in the Napa Valley region of California (I used to live in the City of Nappa and the Mondavi vineyards are very highly regarded). When I was leaving Napa they were in the process of building a Wine Museum which was funded by Mondavi.

Frankly, I have no idea how tesco are managing this deal, it is usually much much more expensive. You certainly are very very unlikely to find a bottle better at the same price tag or even 4x the price tag.

Voted Hot.
