Deal or No Deal is the hottest new UK game show.
Deal or No Deal gives anyone the chance to win up to a quarter of a million pounds. Twenty two people share the experience returning daily waiting for their chance to win a fortune. Only one person plays each day and once a person has played a new contestant replaces them in the next show.

LOL _ I just paid £12 from Choices - typical!

Good deal - I've heard it's rubbish but someone has requested it for xmas!

Unfortunately as a contestant on the show all I heard was also poor comments.

I think so far the only good thing they made was only the book where it says about the contestants and how they make the show.

Otherwise no matter how cheap it is I wouldnt recommend it to anybody :S

Was it someone here who said you could always buy the cheap interactive version - 22 Post-It notes. :giggle:

(By the way, it's gone up to £8.97 now)

Yes I did lol

PS sorry for late reply

This is £5.99 instore at Sainsburys. Saw it earlier!

I got this for Christmas as a gift and to be honest I cannot see what all the disliking is about. Yes the game could be better in as much as a few tweaks are needed to enable speedier choosing of boxes but it is a pretty good way of spending some time. And when you get it at a bargain price it's even better

Take my word for it & don't even bother getting this garbage unless you've got loads of patience. I bought it for my Mrs & we played it on X-mas day. My god it's soooo slooooow. Packed away now & will never be played again.

It is a bit slow but it is certainly not rubbish and we enjoyed it...

There's a previous thread on DOND amongst other interactive DVD's from HMV.

If you value your sanity I'd stay clear of the DOND DVD. Absolute torture.

:x

Maybe I'm just mad then we liked it

Dreadful, money making, rushed (unlike the game itself when playing!) piece of rubbish! Took it back for a refund and bought the post it notes instead!

DVD players werent really designed to play games, so they are slow as the DVD player scans for the right area to play when you select something. The reviews are pretty negative on Amazon, but if you try something a bit more complex on DVD youll notice there are seriously frustrating drawbacks - Raven is the best example of how things can go wrong, it was fun, but my God, if youve ever played a PS2 or Xbox, its a bit like stepping back into the 1970s! Well not quite... but you have been warned!

So you havent actually played it,you just wanted to say that the only good thing to come out of deal or no deal was a book saying how good people like you are ?

Yes this does run fine on a laptop but I guess it was not really sold for this use. Annoying thing is that they would have tested this game before release it and someone actaully thought it was acceptable to sell and charge £15 for it!
