Use code Monster10 to get 10% off today only.

Death Note 1 and 2 blu-ray pre-order (released 06/09/10), 2 blu-rays for the films and 2 DVDs for extra features, comes with 24 page Death Book like the limited edition DVDs did.
Other retailers:
Amazon: £16.99
HMV: £17.99

The current prices for the DVD boxset are:
Amazon: £12.93
HMV: £16.29

For some reason I can't get play.com to load at the moment, but I think their blu-ray price was £15.99, so even without today's 24hour MONSTER10 code thehut is still the cheapest.

Not sure whether the blu would be worth it on this one. Does anyone have it? I wonder if the blu will knit the animation together a bit better?

Just posting this as a warning - it appears as though The Hut have upped the prices of items before putting them on sale - not saying they have on this deal, but it's worth reading that Trading Standards are intending to follow it up.

diGriz these aren't animated :). They're 2 live action films based on the events of the anime. They're both very good and I actually prefer them to the anime but they're less fleshed out than the animes are. There was also a spinoff prequel focused around L. I have them on dvd though not Bluray.

Really really bad movies - especially compared to the anime and manga.

I meant ryuk's animated part, the CGI Shinigami
