have bought some items off Debenhams recently and WOULD NEVER ORDER AGAIN.

1 if you are lucky enough to get the item to the checkout without it being taken from your basket well done
2 their website is not live - only updated once every 24hrs!!! YOU ARE LIKELY TO GET A REVERSAL OF PAYMENT AFTER 24-48HRS!!! basically they are sitting on customers money and earning interest - unbelievably poor.

I've bought LOADS of items on Debenhams, alot of stuff from these forums. Only once or twice have I had an issue where it says an item is in stock, then when I add to basket it says the item is out of stock. Every time I have had stuff in the basket I have had my stuff delivered in a timely fashion.

Out of 4 recent orders totalling 16 items I have received 8 items - their customer services (2 people) agreed the system is rubbish and they get LOADS of complaints - don't get me wrong I like Debenhams stores but their online system is naff - and they admit it.

Bought for £28 :) Hope it is truly waterproof, as I've been struggling to find one that keeps me dry in a downpour. Thanks for posting!

Bought this weeks ago when after discounts I paid £33. Its not a thick padded coat, you can zip a fleece into it to make it warmer. As for being waterproof, haven't tried it yet. Fits on the large side though so maybe size 10 ladies could get into the size 8!

If it's anything like the Men's which I bought a few weeks ago, I've hammered it for days (it's been rather wet if you didn't notice) and so far, so good!

Eek, large side doesn't sound good, they were out of 10 so I ordered a 12 as I'd heard elsewhere that Craghoppers coats were a small fit!! Suppose it varies with each coat. Ah well, better roomy than tight.

And thanks Newsgroupmonkey, good to know that someone's got a similar coat and happy with it :) Got to be better than my work coat which leaks like a sieve! Nice new coat to go with the Craghoppers trousers that were recently on offer silly-reduced...this site costs me so much money!! :D
