Was almost annoyed at myself for missing this, but it doesn't work on the Benefit Gift Set, so I'm okay ;)

Cold - they will just cancel your order and say they've run out of stock, just for the same product to appear back in stock at full price the next day.

10% discount code didn't work with all items, but I also have a £10 off £50 spend with Amex, so worthwhile checking if you have an amex card

And remember Debenhams have a NO REFUND POLICY on all purchases paid by anything other than their store card.

Really? I thought you have a statutory right to return a product within a certain timescale?

Probably means they'll only refund the original purchase price onto a Debenhams gift card therefore meaning you have to spend it buying something else from them? Just guessing so don't quote me! Quite a sneaky move if I'm correct?

Complete rubbish..

Taken from their website:

What is the returns, exchange and refunds policy?
Subject to exceptions, Debenhams is happy to exchange or refund your purchase within 28 days of delivery, for Click & Collect orders the 28 days starts after you have received your 'Order Ready for Collection' email. Your refund will be credited to the original payment card, if you have used a Debenhams giftcard your refund will automatically be credited to the original gift card.

Unwanted goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any tags must be intact. Extra care must be taken when trying on clothing, please ensure you are not wearing any make up, fragrance or deodorant that may leave a scent or mark. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

Common misconception - sellers do not have any obligation to refund you for purchases made INSTORE. They may at their discretion, issue you with a credit note or exchange a la Sports Direct but do not have to give you a refund. Certain companies i.e. Argos give you a 30 day time frame to return and refund but again this is not a legal entitlement. Purchases made online though is a different matter as it is covered by the Distance Selling Regulations Act which basically gives you the right to return (at your cost) items which you can not possible examine before purchase for exchange or refund. All of this is moot and you will be entitled to a FULL refund if you subsequently 'find a hole in the jumper' ahem after buying it instore or online. Hope this helps (_;)

I'm not sure which store the poster who said no refunds goes to but the Debenhams in the North West are more than happy to refund no questions asked in the past.
