Debenhams PLEASE DONT USE!!
i bought and paid for a cooker on the 17th jan 08 on line it said delivery in 2 weeks after 6 i contacted them and a was promised time and time again they would phone me back with delivery details......
in early april i phoned and was told a cooker was on its way but had been damaged in transit so it would be another 2 weeks for a replacement after the 2 weeks i phone once again to be told they no longer do the cooker i ordered and paid for 3 months earlier and i get a full refund in 5 working days or less...... as i write this ive still not recieved my cooker or my refund and have contacted trading standards and watchdog that debenhams have an item advertised on there website that they can not supply but will happy take your money for.... be warned debenhams r real scum!!!

Just go instore then to buy the items - simple as!

iVe had problems with Debenhams, Tesco, Marshall Ward Next etc etc it is whenever you order something that has been reduced. It costs loads to sort it out as well as the time. I think that something must be done regarding internet purchases so the retailers can't sell what they don't actually have, they all to often blame it on a stock problem or damaged stock when you can't check it out!! Ive missed out on buying things because I have waited for an order which never arrived and then the other item (2nd choice) had gone back up in price or run out of stock.

Whenever I order on line now I just wonder whether I'll get it or not.
Good luck and perhaps that Martin chap from the radio should get on to it.

They do often cancel online orders when voucher codes have been used, even though they initially accept the orders. I would never buy online in that way again, as it's just a pain when they cancel a few days later, plus they always send you a letter saying the item is out of stock which is clearly untrue !!

Good deal this anyway, I shall be shopping instore though. but I guess online is fine if you don't try to use any codes!

I could'nt agree with you more!:thumbsup: In my recent experience with Debenhams CS staff they even put the phone down on me. Also the guys who deal with your quiries online are equally as bad, I would never purchase another thing from this online retailer. They need to invest in customer service training at the very least, to ensure customers are satisfied when things do go wrong.

Ther goes my rant for the day, lol:p
