Its been this price for months. As much as I think tripp are a great brand of luggage (i use them myself) I am getting peed off with the falsely inflated 'original price' tactic they are using. There is no way on gods green earth the prices they are quoting on all the sale stock are true prices (debenhams and tripps own site). On that basis I am voting cold.

Yes the original price is not what the case is worth but now at only £29 is very good
dont think you can match this price with the quality

+ there are many more lagguage offers on

Try any "outlet" retail park for far better cases at lower prices.

Very good price as this can be used as Hand Lagguage

If you are flying Ryanair, that is 23% of your weight allowance gone. You can get lighter bags with a similar volume that are better suited as hand luggage.

Please let me know of a similar priced hand luggage (trolley) that weighs much less

They had some trolley / backbacks in TK MAXX in Glasgow at the weekend for £19.99. I was looking at them, but thought do you really need the extra weight of the wheels of the trolley mechanism to carry 10kg? I saved 500g and bought a regular backpack.

I am sorry but you are not stating any fact...
how much the £19.99 did weight??
And now you are comparing a trolley case with a back pack??? might as well put in in a black bin liner then it will be 0 weight :whistling:

most airlines only have a 5kg limit for cabin luggage so you are in fact using 46% of your limit.

mine was a cheap one from tescos for about a fiver (weight 1kg!).

the ones I know of Ryanair has 10kg and Easyjet has only size not weight restriction.

I cant believe tesco sells a trolley case that weighs 1 kilo let alone for £5 or £10 not even samsonite most expensive ones weigh 1kg!!

No, I was comparing a trolley case with a trolley back pack. They are fairly sturdy, you could easily lay folded shirts flat in them as in a suitcase, and you can wear them as a back pack, carry them by handle or drag them on the wheels, so more flexible carrying options than a mini-suitcase.

If you want only a small case, then go for this. It will be fine for hand luggage. They can be had significantly cheap at retail outlets as someone noted above. I bought a tripp suitcase last year. The debenhams sale price was something like £50, and it was £20 in the outlet.

It is also worth checking the length of the extendable handle. Some small cases have very short handles.

The point is, if it is hand luggage, it is not going to get thrown around like checked in luggage. If you don't require the rigidity of a case, then you can get away with using a light sportsbag to do the same thing.

that's a much more constructive reply
Trolley backpacks i think are a great idea + very true that some of them have short handle and can be very bad for your back !! :)

no this is a different but still valid point ;-)
however I still doubt VERY MUCH you can get a 1KG trolley case for a tenner

Worth checking out Tripps own website as I saw a Tripp case for my hubby on debenhams and they were selling it for the same price on tripps site with free postage and higher Quidco. Debenhams quidco 4% whereas Tripps is 7%.
