Instore @ Poundland. If, like me, you've been tasked to make Easter Bonnets for the kids for school then look no further!

Found these in Poundland Cirencester today in a variety of colours/ decorations. They also had loads of packs of accessories to add to the hat e.g chicks, eggs, bunnies etc. Still a very big choice in this store.

Its a nightmare isn't it. There was a reason that I gave up art & anything remotely creative as soon as I could at school!

These must be for girls only?!?!? I only ask because they're having an easter bonnet competition at playgroup this week and there's no chance I'm putting my son in anything so gay looking. He may only be 2, but I'm not going to make a fool of him! Kids are little people, not dolls for silly women to dress up!

Just wait until he starts school my friend. You can choose for him to look a fool for wearing something 'so gay' or for standing out for not dressing up. Also, I've just done some googling & it appears that there is anything between a 3% & 9% chance (depending on the stats you believe) that he will be gay! (_;)

The Poundlands Easter range I saw yesterday is huge - everything from crafting essentials for the kids to yummy Easter eggs in their fave characters - Ben 10 and Hello Kitty, and more...!

I will be picking up the cute packs of Easter chicks for decorating the Easter bonnets, I am sure that will help us win the decorating competition at my boys school! Great that every thing is £1 too - easy to budget what I spend!

You got a home bargains near you? Could go for the yellow cowboy hat style? Failing that bit egg-stra work (sorry!) but we made a pirate hat with my son last year - bunny instead of skull and a nest with eggs in it in the middle at the top, if that makes any sense!

Never laughed and cringed so much in my life after reading that. Offensive in so many ways. My two year old boy wheels a girl's buggy around playgroup when he's not pushing trains and cars around. He's 2! 2! You can make a boy's version of anything with a bit of imagination. And as you said, kids are little people not dolls, they do have their own mind.
