Based on the book Defiance: The Bielski Partisans by Nechama Tec, Defiance revolves around three Jewish Brothers, Tuvia (Daniel Craig), Zus (Liev Schreiber) and Asael Bielski (Jamie Bell), who live in Nazi occupieed Poland.

The Bielski brothers manage to escape into the Belarussian forest where they unite with Russian resistance fighters. The group endeavour to build a village inside the forest in order to protect themselves and others in danger.

I have been looking to buy this movie for ages but due to mixed reviews I was putting it off until it became cheaper, nice find, I will be buying myself a copy. hot from me
cracking movie , well worth the money
The blondie haired, blue eyed Danial Craig plays a fantastic part as a Jewish Partisan.

Good film though at one point I did think it was filmed in real time
Looked so forward to watching it but was disappointed. That's not to say it's a bad film by any means. Just not as good as I expected or wanted it to be.
Superb film
Oh god please, no more comments about accents....

Decent film of an amazing true story. These people were not angels or conventional heroes, they did what they had to do to adapt and survive by living like animals - they were often compared to the wolves of the forests by the nazis.
good film
amazing when you think it was a true story, but i found it rather slow
has anyone seen escape from zobibor
