I have edited your post as the price displayed at checkout is £170.11 delivered, not £159.

Added a correct "go to Deal" link as well.

The Dell site is working very slowly for me so I am just checking what you have posted.

When I put this in my basket it comes up as £170.10. Is there more to come at checkout or does your price include the Quidco amount?

Edir: MikeT beat me to it.

Just to help people understand pricing as I couldn't work it out from that posting:
"Regular" £189.01 less 10% offer = £170.11
Shipping £5.75 rebated 100% = £170.11
less 4% Quidco (and net of VAT!) ie on £147.92 = -£5.92 = £164.19

Do watch out as there are Dell S2309W and Dell SP2309W with totally different specs/prices.

Be careful too whether you buy via HOME with full DSR rights or via a business a/c where DSR do NOT apply!

I'd also recommend having a look at some of the iiyama monitors such as this from those un-nice people at Pixmania for only a bit more with 24" and full HD and also Pivot ability which will grow on you once you realise what it is :)

Er yes but that is in an ever so slightly different price band.

No offence, man, but this isn't amazing when you can buy a 24" Full HD Samsung TV/Monitor here..

Sorry for spam but Dell are hugely overpriced in my opinion..

Why not just go with this and this one has 2x HDMI ports..

I'm using that monitor right now - bought it 3 weeks ago. Lovely piece of kit ! Works well with HDCP content (PS3 & SkyHD) too. The only downsides are the speakers aren't all that cop and there's no headphone socket :(

I bought this some time ago (for 132) and it was a GREAT purchase... now the pound is not that strong so that's why the price is higher :S.. unfortunately this is the new good price.

Sorry maybe I missed something but there appers to be no mention of HDMI in the spec on your link? Its in the title but not mentioned elsewhere?

I have the 24" version of this from an HUKD deal last year...brilliant monitor, only paid £190 for it - using it now!

oits definatley HDMI. and with such a high screen res its awesome.

i voted cold, it was £130 previously and I purchased the 24inch S"P"2309W with webcam and HDMI support at £170 in february and it rotates round a rotator disc which is brilliant especially if u want to get perfect viewing angle wherever ur sitting. I wud not advise anyone to get the S2309W when you can get a samsung 24inch for £30 more from asda. Also if u are going to get this, ask for VGA DVI and HDMI cables, they will give them to you for free at this price if you mention it was £130 previously. Try and get more freebies thrown in like a desk, or kitchen sink.

because this is a monitor designed for the pc ... theres no point it being able to have sound ... so instead of using HDMI ports they used a single DVI which is also most common on graphics cards ... Also theres deal's with 2 HDMI ports but why ? You can only use it for one thing at once ... DVI cant carry a sound signal but can carry a 1080P HD feed.

ATI Graphics cards have the ability to deliver Audio via DVI ...

I want the SP2309W as I'm after an integrated webcam (I don't like clutter)... I wish they'd drop that to £170 again because I'd have one like a shot!
