I bought one of these a while ago now and notice that the offer is still on. You get the Dell 1320CN printer and 2 sets of toner delivered for £133.90. The toner sets are rated at 2000 prints, so you get plenty of printing for your £££.

These are great printers, I get my toners from LJT but via ebay, costs £20 delivered for all 4 which last ages.... Got my printer from amazon for £105 delivered, came with a full set of toners so about the same really

It is a good printer, and the toner carts do seem to last as well. "Genuine" Dell toner is very expensive but the recycs are widely available and cheap as mentioned above.

This is a very good printer based on a Xerox engine. Be warned that IJT were caught giving 1000 print capacity starter cartridges rather than 2000 print ones as suggested in their advertising. I called IJT when I noticed they supplied starter cartridges with my purchase - they apologised and sent on a further two packs to make up for their error, but as more people complained they were increasing reluctant to do this for others. Still, it is a good price for what is on offer :)

Yep, this is a good deal. Bought mine because I was fed up of waiting forever for the inkjet to print and this thing takes seconds and prints on a much wider variety of papers.

For regular type (colour and black) it's great - much finer and sharper than a typical inkjet. For photos though an inkjet is a better idea.

PS - despite being a dell and not having any drivers for the Mac this works absolutely fine and can be easily networked via ethernet - both with macs and pc's - it also works equally as well via USB. Considering how expensive these were only a few years ago this really is a good deal and can recommend it! Hot hot hottie hot.

I have one of these printers from IJT and it's great. quick to print B&W and Colour. Photo quality is better than any inkjet on standard 80 or 90gsm paper. Be warned it's big and heavy, make sure you have space with it. If you have a mac you will have some fiddling around to do to get it to work as the drivers on the Dell website don't work on Snow Leopard, but if you change the permissions on the files to allow everyone to read write and execute they work.

This is a bargain IMO

This has been posted at least 3 times before and there's always a problem. Inititally IJT were giving away replacement cartridges. Now they are giving official dell, but low capacity ones as mentioned above, which both together can only print up to 2000 pages, which is the capacity of a normal cartridge. Ebuyer are doing the same printer for cheaper and free shipping with a full 2000page cartridge!

I was ripped off by IJT, stay clear!

I got this last time (+ 1 extra set of toner after emailing complaint about starter toner packs) and it is an excellent printer. I'd never owned a laser printer before and wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised, it can even do photos in decent quality up to A4. Everything is printed in seconds and doesn't require a drying time. Toners on ebay are dirt cheap and because they're powder based you won't have to spend 45 mins cleaning dried ink from print heads over and over just because you haven't used it for a week! 2 year on site Dell next day warranty as well.

But like the other postee said it won't come with 2x 2000 page toners like you might think but 2x 1000 page starter kits. It is quite big too, although no wider than you're average inkjet it is about the same deep and about 2 foot tall. It comes with a network port though so you can hide it away somewhere if you like, I've connected mine up to a wireless bridge out of the way. Also putting it together is a bit more involved than an inkjet but it's not difficult just make sure you read the 'div proof' instructions if you've not had one before, and don't just go pulling off all the bits of protective plastic willy nilly like I did.

Eeeh I wish I'd bought one years ago...when I think of all the time I've wasted faffing about with refill kits, dodgy 'compatible' cartridges, blocked printheads, having to go to my ma in laws to print of invoices ....mumble .....grumble etc etc

I'm extremely tempted as I'm currently in the market for a decent network laser printer as I'm moving jobs so I no longer have access to unlimited free printing X). I've never heard of IJT before, but I'm extremely wary of buying anything from ebuyer after a terrible experience 5 or 6 years back and another bad experience through my work a couple of months back (we ordered a shuttle pc from them as our regular supplier was out of stock, paid a lot for a pre noon delivery, they didn't deliver it so we chased it up then the next day we received what was obviously a customer return which of course was DoA).
#11
Does the ebuyer one come with the extended warranty? Plus add £10 for equivalent delivery service.

I've had no problems with IJT they did everything exactly as they said they would, replied to my emails within 24 hours and they've not rung me since I bought it 2-3 months ago. If they do call just tell them you're a home user and they shouldn't bother you again.
#12
The deal I signed up for when I got mine was slightly different, it clearly stated you were buying 2 sets of compatible toners and getting the printer free. All my toners are the larger 2000 size and I've seen no difference in quality between these prints and the ones at work which use 'branded' toner.

The only thing that surprised me was it's height, it is a tall fella!

IJT were fine to me, they've called up once since and emailed twice offering to restock me, but as I originally said, I'm still on my first set.
#13
Very, very tempted...

Does the ebuyer one come with 2 year onsite warranty too?
#14
how many times can you replace the toners before it needs a new drum (imaging unit) ?
#15
will using refilled toners invalidate the 2 year warranty?
#16
what is the difference between the 1320c and 1320cn?

I've found this for £113 delivered.

Thanks OP, I had a Samsung CLP315 on order with Amazon which I have cancelled to go with this. The reviews are very good and toner about 30% of the price of toner for the Samsung.
#18
Joshy, as far as I know there isn't a 1320C, the N normally stands for networkable and this IJT one is. I think it's just a typo / meaningless letter thing.

It's refered to as the 1320c & 1320cn in th advert, so think it's the same. the IJT one is definitely network ready!

Beware. They Dells are rebadged Lexmark (at least they were 2 years ago) . I purchased 10 for a company I used to work at and 5 of them packed up within a year.

Don't forget Morgan are doing a similar deal - a tad pricier - but they guarantee genuine Dell carts:

Surely this is the best deal + these off ebay

Totalling £119.84 vs £133.90 for, or an I missing something?

I didn't get the USB cable that was required to connect it to your computer. Did it come with one?

I believe that usually they don't come with cables. They're dirt cheap, or you may even find you have one lying around from some other bit of equipment you can use.

Did everyone get starter sets?

and people keep mention 2yrs warranty but I can only find one year warranty am I missing something?

Fizz, I have ordered one and it's due in the next couple of days, I will let you know.

The two year warranty was quoted when someone said they entered the DELL srvice tag onto their website.

I'm going to order it today if the other half lets me paying the extra for next day - 2000 or not its still a bargain

Fizz; Arrived today at 15.00. All set up in 30 mins for all 3 pc's. Very nice print quality. I think the toners are 1000's although they dont say that. I will need to check tomorrow. Still very happy with it. The video set up on the disc is very clear and simple to follow.

Hope yours arrives promptly.
#39
Spoke to them today, when I asked about toner size they said 1000 prints, to be fair when you actually add to cart they just specify that you will get 2 sets of dell not any size. The just states that you can get 2k toners ( that's how I am reading it) - mine is down for Friday delivery - now need to clear out the other half's stuff to make space :-)

I am finding that when I print anything containing a photo is is printed out very pixelated? Is there a setting where I can change this to stop it coming out so pixelated?
