I was looking for a colour laser printer that I could put on the family network and had just about decided on the Samsung CLP-310N but then I came across the Dell which has got some great reviews. The only downside I can see is the size of it!

I think people think "ergh a printer, boring, where's the Xbox games at" and throw ice at it.

Hot from me, was also looking into purchasing this but it was a bit too mass.

Replacement toners are very cheap too, spot on thanks OP

Got this last time, good printer:thumbsup: Just watch out for all the e-mails and phone calls trying to sell you extra tonner

have ordered cartidges from them before and there brilliant, especially for the price:thumbsup:

Personally wouldn't get a laser for our family because we don't do enough printing to make it economically viable! But great deal anyway!

I bought one last time too.

Rock solid office printer. I print my leaflets on laser paper too, with excellent results.

The yield is great; only changed my black cartridge after six months moderate use.

It arrived quickly too, so I can vouch for the company.

Great deal!

Bought this from IJT about 3 months ago for newletters and the quality is good (way better than anything other than an expensive inkjet). Can be a bit noisy on startup but once it gets going the speed is good. Toners can be a pain to fit but no more than other colour laserjets and certainly less fiddly and messy than most inkjets. Dell have this on their website at £187 and that comes with one set of starter toners (usually less than half filled) ]http://www1.euro.dell.com/uk/en/home/Peripherals/print_1320c/pd.aspx?refid=print_1320c&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1[/URL]

Cheers for the heads up, my Samsung CLP-315 needs a new set of toners which would work out at £115 so gone for this instead as you can get recycled toners for £60.
#12
I bought one of these last year and its still.going strong.

As stated above the only problem is that its a huge square thing.
#13
For people buying their first laser printer.
They use a lot of power on startup so don't plug them into any small UPS, as they will damage the UPS.
#14
bought this few weeks ago, came in next day without any troubles. Please note that both toner sets are IJT stuff, and not original.

Voted hot.

Is the IJT stuff OK?

It says on their website that it comes with 2 sets of Dell Toners - is this what it said when you bought yours- if so you can probably complain?

So I assume what you get is

Two sets of the following?
(Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black toners)

Each set is good for 2k prints?

So all in al1 4k prints for £133.90 = 3.3p per page

I should know for sure tomorrow but I believe it is 2 full sets of the high capacity (2000 prints) cartridges which should keep you going for a while.

Got one of these from IJT in march lovely printer. mine came with 2 sets of toner that look like the ones in this ebbay listing 190371057396 . (listing nothing to do with me , for illustration only)

Nice print quality - fast too.

I will say dont expect photos to look like a glossy inject photo as it wont , Its not too bad but you wouldnt want to use it for photo printing.

size is a bit big but acceptable.

Also one bit of info , the print head drum in these do about 20,000 pages and then need replacing at a cost of £100- £120 which makes it cheaper to get a new printer. 20,000 is a lot of pages though I will only do about 2000-3000 a year.

Dell toners are expensive but keep a eye on a certain auction site as some genuine dell toners appear on there , I got a load of genuine ones for £7.50 each couldnt believe it. Check out sold items to see what I mean.

Fully networkable out of the box aswell.

HOT!

Brought this last year from the same site....super fast delivery and great printer....Still on my first set of toners and use it quiet regualrly
#22
I got one last year when it was £120 & am well pleased with it.
My only complaint is not with the printer but the fact IJT phone you every month offering you deals on cartridges.

Heat added

I really needed a duplex colour laser printer... if only this was duplex or had an option (and manual is not an ideal option!)
#24
Once you have used a laser printer, you will never go bak to inkjet again.

So muvh faster ///////////////////////9the paper comes out as fast as a blank sheet does in an inkjet) and cheaper to print per page.

I ordered this a few days ago from IJT. It came with 2 sets of each of the toners (so 8 toners in total) - all IJT Toners, no original Dell inks.

The printer is brand new and works well with the IJT ink from what I've tried so far! Next day delivery too.
#26
Got mine in last deal on here with two sets of toners for £120.95 delivered.

Good reliable printer. MIne is currently wired up to router so all laptops in the house can print wirelessly to it,

Fast delivery and all OK so far.

I've had absolutely no emails or phone calls from IJT though, which kinda makes me feel unloved !!

whatsThePoint
Toner lasts forever more or less
Ink cartridges can dry out in a short space of time and need replacing

I'd say a laser makes more sense for you if you rarely print

I second that, owned a laser for many years, got fed up with rubbish results from inkjet printers. Leave them for a few days and the prinhead blocks. Laser are far more economical and print quality is great.
#28
Dell printers are usually re-badged Lexmarks. I'm not sure if this is a Lexmark but if it is steer well clear. Lexmark are terrible printers.

I've used them before for ink carts. Get frequent emails and occasional snail-mail from them, and did phone me a couple of times (were very polite though). Their recycled ink jet carts were a bit variable, but I've had similar issues with stuff from other recyclers. Happy wnough with IJT to consider buying this deal.

I was gonna buy this printer from Morgan before when I received a card through the door. It was £169 plus they gave original Dell toners (full set) but decided against it as I already have a laser. But to my luck, it has knackered up last week!!!

Just had a look and its still available but as I feedback is appreciated.

Hot Dang that's a good deal.

I pay about £100 for a set of toner for my HP2600n, and if it wasn't so damned good I'd be sorely tempted to buy this.

I really needed a duplex colour laser printer... if only this was duplex or had an option (and manual is not an ideal option!)

If you set it up correctly, you just have to take the stash of pages from the output tray and put it into the front tray - the printer than prints the flip side. I used to do that with a SPARCprinter for a few years - but it was a huge beast, and eventually I got rid of it. I still have the interface card :-)

On that advert it states that the cartridges are original DELL yet they are selling the IJT copy cartridges on the right hand of the screen ?? whats all that about?

Do they come with original cartridges or not?
#38
No.

ITJ toners.

This is a superb printer for the money. I bought two for the family and they have performed faultlessly. One of my best buys ever.

It is a big beast of a thing but that's okay. The set-up is really simple too with the simple to follow animated tutorial on the supplied disk.

Unless you're doing fine photo printing you'll never look back after a colour laser.

When I want photos I just use one of the online services or pop into jessops or boots.

It's really a re-badged/re-cased Xerox Phaser 6130.

Had mine 2 years (was a DELL refurb not from IJT), and running on IJT ink for the last year, would recommend it to anyone.
