Voting hot Mike. That's an amazing price for a 20" Dell TFT - especially with that 3 year warranty!

Ain't all branded monitors come with 3 years warranty? Voted "warm".

Do they Kommunist? I wasn't sure... I know Viewsonic do...

If you buy this Dell from the Dell site, it's £401.. so a bit of a difference anyway.

It's mental how the price jumps around on the Dell monitors

the 20" screen (2007WFP) was £302.27 last time I checked about a week ago.. now up to £401.85

The 24" (2407WFP) is still a massive bargain at £566.64

Personally I would want my monitor to be brand new - I wouldn't buy a reconditioned one

don't forget Quidco

I bought one of these a few months ago, brand spanking new from the Dell website for about £270.

only one left....

I bought one a few months ago and I can actually confirm it is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Once you've experienced widescreen, you'll not go back... And the fact that it's a Dell is just the icing on the cake. I've hooked it up to a Freecom DVB-T stick as well and I cannot praise it highly enough.

IMO it's not such as good idea buying from a third part, cos even though you are told there is a warranty with it, Dell are VERY reluctant to offer repairs etc if bought from resellers...

Says 20 left on my screen ;-)

RDC are a big Dell reseller I doubt there would be a problem they couldnt solve for you if you had a problem with Dell, perhaps you were just unlucky paperclip.

sorry was looking at 2005FWP

RDC are a big Dell reseller I doubt there would be a problem they couldnt solve for you if you had a problem with Dell, perhaps you were just unlucky paperclip.

i had the misfortune of buying a monitor from ITC a while back, and Dell support refused to believe there was any such thing as an official reseller, and i had loads of problems getting a faulty replaced...maybe this is different...

Abit off topic maybe but, Dell are supposed to be releasing a new Cheaper 20" Widescreen sometime with the part number E207WFP.

By the way guys, this has HDCP, so it's futureproof.

Thanks for the extra info Chanser :)

With 3 year next business day warranty on top, definitely a bargain!

Forgot to say, if you buy this monitor direct from Dell, you get a free 15" LCD monitor.

Thanks again Chanser :) That's if you buy the monitor from Dell [about £402] not from RDC

[B]Simply Add the 20" 2007 WFP or the 30" 3007 WFP monitor to your Shopping Basket - then add the 15" E156FP Monitor.
The price of the E156FP monitor will then be discounted automatically from the the total order value - Easy as Dell !

A word of caution using rdc.

I bought a 'New' 37" Dell telly from them albeit with 28 day warranty. It arrived safe and well but the packaging had previously been opened and the monitor bezel had obvious scuff marks. Not new or no where near it.

RDC's response...

I’m sorry to hear that you are not happy with the condition of the LCD/TV that you bought on the RDC’s website. The Item was opened prior to dispatch, this was simply for testing. As the TFT was sold without any Dell Warranty we wanted to make sure that it was in perfect working order before we sent it out.

There should be no excuse with regards to the marks on the front facia of the TV, this may have been caused when the item was tested. Is the scuff mark removable?? Please let me know and we will get back to you to resolve the problem....

I couldn't face the hassle of an RMA on a TV that size, so didn't pursue the matter further. Just left disappointed.

I'll leave you do decider whether to believe RDC's response or not.

In fairness to them what else whould you have expected from them after getting an email from you?

They have asked if you are able to remove the mark, I would suggest that they and any other company would act in the same manner, awaiting your response, had you been able to remove it a small refund would have been offered and or an offer of an exchange or refund had you not been able to.
You really have made them out to be guilty of something when they have had no chance to make things right for you.

No doubt its too late now but thats your fault not theirs.
