Compared to the recent Hannspree and HP 22" monitor deals at around £130-135, this is cold.

Absolutely correct, and IMO(and many others) HP and Hanspree screens are much better quality than Dells.

Any deals for a 24"

When I checked reviews on CNET for the Samsung monitors they said the Dell monitors were better.

Voted HOT.

I bought this in Dell's sale back in January, a good price for a quality monitor. Don't forget Quidco, that knocked me £6.70 off the Dell price.

I think you'll find (going by the reviews) that dell make some damn fine monitors. IMO much better than HP and Hanspree

There seem to be two types of Dell monitors, the cheaper general quality ones and the excellent much sought after dearer ones.

I havent worked out the stepping point yet.

The Ultrasharp denotes the upper range with the zero bright pixel guarentee and fully adjustable stands, although I think the excellent ones these days are 24" and up. The E and the SP ones are the lower models with E being the basic and SP having built-in webcam.
