  I used this cashback deal last year - so long as your monitor is working and you include the power adapter and video cable you will be fine.

  Just beware, the recycling scheme is nothing to do with Dell and if things go wrong, you'll have difficulty in talking to someone. Having said that, I used the scheme last year and got £60 back from a four year old flatron.

  I should also mention that the recycling company have great customer support where they always reply support email on the same if not the next working day. Way better then claiming cashback from site like Mobiles.co.uk and E2save :p

  did this deal last year...traded in a working 15" dell i got off ebay for £16...got £10 quidco, £65 for the monitor & £10 p+p refund in cashback.
  took a while maybe 6-8 weeks but never any doubt i would get weighed-in as i was kept up to date via email.

  Be careful with the cash back, the monitor must be less than 5 years old .......
  and a scratched screen, a shattered screen, a smashed case, a smashed screen, an electronic error, transportation damage, a broken case, a cracked case, a scratched case, a scuffed case, a missing VGA cable, a missing power adapter, faulty colour, a faulty display, faulty PSU/adaptor, more than 3 dead pixels, an etched logo, an attached security device, missing case parts, a missing rear cover, a missing front panel cover;
  So I fear it would be all to easy to fail to meet the tests. particularly the 'faulty display' part. Promoters decision is final.......
  Also there is limited list of manufacturers - surprised 15" monitor was under 5 years old.......
